It was my first time visiting the establishment. We were warmly greeted and seated right away. Our wait staff was so attentive and sweet. He made sure he secured the last sweet potato cheesecake since what I originally ordered was discontinued. Our order was taken right away snd it did not take long for our food to be delivered to our tsble. We were checked on throughout our meal. I ordered the tips which were well seasoned and tender, collard greens and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious . What a great find. Really enjoyed the food. While I like fried chicken it is not typically my first choice but this chicken is different - in a good way. Sides were great. Will definitely return

Wow, the food, the service, EVERYTHING was on point at this establishment. Every bite of the red velvet waffle is just as scrumptious as the last, our server was super nice and very helpful. We will be back whenever we are in town!

Stop what your doing and go try out His Place Eatery! GAS! From the Red Velvet Chicken (we chose the 4 wings) & Waffles , to the Catfish and the Smoked Turkey and sides, everything was a 10/10. Hint: Add some of your greens and Cornbread muffin to the dressing and BAM it's like a flavor burst of Thanksgiving,! 🦃🍽️ Trust me , His Place did NOT disappoint! 🙏🏽

Hadn't been to this location and frankly it had been far too long since I had good soul food. I'm so glad my aunt and I picked this spot for our monthly lunch. 11:45 am on a Thursday and it was already busy, but we had no wait for a table and our server was with us as soon as we sat down. The chicken and dumplings is only available until sell out on Thursday so my aunt got that. I got the 2 meat bbq plate. Both meals came with sides included. I got the brisket and pork belly and both were perfect. So much food. Easily enough for 2 people with the sides. You'll be too full for dessert but take the banana pudding home. I used the leftover brisket and pork belly to make loaded scrambled eggs the next day. No one was disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Service was great by our server. One waitress/seater was rude and naturally aggressive. She stepped in front of my wife to ask us about if we had a reservation! Meanwhile our party preordered our food and it was getting cold while she hassled us. There was not near a full-house to require neither demand a reservation. She should not be working directly with customers. Our waiter made up for the older lady's muck up. Almost ruined my experience with our friend and family from out of town that was expecting us. Food was tasteful and fulfilling. Location was easy to find. Atmosphere was good not packed.
