They refused to honor several diners reservations with no real explanation. They put us on a wait list and claimed it would be about 30 minutes. We got the text telling us our table was ready over an hour later. Fortunately by that point we had gone to a different restaurant. No wonder they are going out of business.

It pains me to give Hop Cat this rating as it really wasn't the servers' fault and they tried their very best, but the service was slow. Not enough wait staff. In addition the food was so so, definitely not up the standards I've had in the past.

The restaurant music was way too loud. Our food took forever to come out. My chicken sandwich was raw inside. The waitress was lovely and she did have the sandwich removed from the bill, however I still would not return.

Service was a little slow but we did not mind. We were waiting for the line across the street to get much shorter.I ordered one salad and it took me till my last bite that they brought me the wrong one, but I did not care it was really good.Great selection of beer.I was one day away from hip surgery, when we explained to the host I needed a different table bc the bench was too hard. They immediately jumped up to find a better spot that would be more comfortable to me.The bartender was friendly. The bust boy was running all over to keep tables clean. We will definitely go again..

Great place! Food was excellent, service was a little slow, our server was excellent but I think she had too much ground to cover. Will definitely go back!! Recommend that you allow enough time for your meal so you're not rushed and you'll really enjoy this place.

Great location. Food was OK. A little cold. Maybe it was just a bad night. Service was a little slow but help was very friendly. I would try it again. Excellent location if you're going to the Vogue.

Closed with no communication given to our party. We drove 30 mins and paid to park only to be greeted by a closed sign. We made our reservation in advance so a phone call to save the drive would have been appreciated.

Sat for 20 minutes before being served. Hop cat was severely understaffed, but the server was apologetic. Service continued to be slow for both food and drinks. Beer was cold and food was palatable, however my Nashville chicken sandwich was over cooked and I have been served larger chicken tenders compared to the chicken breast they gave me.I will try hopcat again in the future, however if service continues to be subpar I don’t see hopcat lasting much longer in broad ripple.

Stood at the host stand for ~ 10 mins until I went and got a server’s attention to possibly sit us down. This was 8:00pm on Saturday. Server was pleasant and food was mediocre. We had 2 burgers (Hangover helper and beyond burger) and 2 waters.Be aware the restaurant adds a 2% “Food & Bev” fee to your tab without you knowing.

Food is always good. They have the best pretzel bites. We usually get the blonde bartender as our server and she’s always friendly and knowledgeable. Makes great drinks too!Parking: If you’re willing to walk far enough you’ll find free parking. 5-10 minute walk to park on residential street.

The hostess was not helpful. The server was nowhere to be seen. The bartender was clueless. Several tables stacked with dirty dishes that were not going to be cleared anytime soon. I feel bad for those that are working here but there was no real proper staff training. There is significant staffing/managing problems going on and this was a weeknight. I will not go back and have warned others to avoid it. I have enjoyed it in the past.

Did the Ash & Elm / Breast Cancer event and it was dynamite!! Each dish prepared by the cook staff was paired with an Ash & Elm cider and that pairing was amazing. The ciders fit so well with the foods being served, whether an appetizer or main course or dessert.

We waited for 15 minutes before leaving. It was mid-afternoon. No one told us there would be any waiting. No one stopped by to check on us during this time. This used to be a favorite spot with really great food but sadly I don’t think we can’t come back.

I arrived at 6:10pm tonight. I was gladly ushered into sit down with the friends I was meeting with. We ordered drinks at 6:15pm. Which that was not bad. At 6:30pm we ordered our food...our waitress passed our tables multiple times, not saying a word. At 7:15pm, I asked the waitress politely what's the status of our orders. She told us, that they are backed up in the kitchen and there's nothing they can do about it. At 7:45pm, our food came out. The order I put in came out cold and not edible. However, I chocked it down. So, the moral of this issues is...I will never eat at your restaurant ever again, your staff needs to be trained on how to properly manage ticket times, and how to have managers call in employees to cover shifts if there are call offs. In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody that I know and the managers/corporate holding group needs to be advised of this incident.
