It was my daughter’s birthday 2/6/2026 and we were having a family celebration. She ordered online for pick up, the order was 3 pizzas and bread sticks. Said it would be ready in 20 minutes so when she got there, they said her order was never processed and to wait. She waited inside the building for an additional HOUR continuously asking for updates before an employee suggested she just cancel her order. No sorry. No how can we make this right. Absolutely no consideration for a paying customer. Not only was that horrible customer service, it upset her on her birthday and we had a house full of hungry family ( 5 of whom are kids age 12-2, who were very hungry and cranky) She supposedly will get a refund, she is a first responder as well, who helps this community and this happens. Now four local families will never return to this pizza establishment and we will advise others to not eat there as well. Apparently they very incompetent and cannot handle servicing our community!

Hotbox on Southport Rd is my go to pizza spot, great service and great food every single time! I will be loyal to this pizza spot as long as I live in the area. All other pizza shops to don’t compare to this one. 1 million out of 10 experience every time I come in. Thank you guys 🙏🏼

I ordered pizza on 10/25. There was a staple in my pizza. Luckily I didn’t swallow it. I noticed something sharp in my mouth and pulled out the staple. When I called on 10/26 to explain what happened I didn’t even receive an apology. I was told that it was “probably” an accident. I hope it was an accident! The person on the phone didn’t seem to care at all. I will never order from this location again. Unacceptable!

Work had given me a coupon for a free large pizza. Never been here so we went in person to order. Very clean atmosphere with employees who greet you with a smile. We ordered carry out but there is seating available to dine in. We ordered spicy pepperoni and our 17 year old said it is very tasty. We also ordered a large veggie pizza which is also delicious with a luscious amount of veggies. Crust on this pizza is not one you will leave on your plate. The employees were attentive and informative when we asked how long it would take. Highly recommend.

Their popeye pizza is our house favorite. The staff is usually teens in pajama pants and headphones, but dont let that drive you away. These friendly teens have their pizza game tight. Definitely will order with them again, two thumbs up.

HotBox Pizza always hits the spot. My go-to order might sound a little unusual: BBQ sauce instead of red, with chicken, pepperoni, and crumbled sausage. But it’s insanely good. The sweet and smoky BBQ with all that savory meat just works so well together.
And the brownie? Absolute perfection. Gooey, rich, and easily one of the best desserts you can get anywhere, not just for a pizza place.
Highly recommend trying both if you haven’t already.
