Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

It was our first time at Hyde Park and it did not disappoint! The staff was friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. I had the filet with the horseradish sauce. The filet was cooked perfectly and the horseradish sauce was out of this world. Completely different than any other I have ordered in the past. My husband refuses to put any type of sauce on his steak and even he said it was incredibly good. He had the strip and said it was the perfect medium rare. We will definitely be back.

The food was cooked to specification. It was well seasoned and flavorful. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. The Early Nights menu was of fairly decent value.

Wonderful experience. The tables are nicely spaced so it feels intimate and you could carry on a normal conversation. The food was all exceptional and it was the best lobster bisque I have every had.

Ask to not sit in the bar. Ambience and noise are much better. Service was very good- as close to fine dining as one gets today.

The food is always exceptional at Hyde Park. It's one of my favorite downtown Indianapolis steakhouses. I actually ordered the chicken Milanese and it is better than most Italian restaurants.

My bake potato did not come out with my steak. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes. They did take it off of the bill.

We've been to Hyde Park several times either in Columbus/Upper Arlington or Indianapolis. The quality of the food and drinks are consistently great. The service is excellent and the staff does all the little things you'd expect from a top notch restaurant.

Our food was delicious and experience was great, up until our waiter disappeared. Thankfully someone else was able to check us out.

Excellent experience - Chelsea was amazing and created such a great night for our birthday celebration. Food and drinks were on point. Always a great experience when dining there.

We have dined at Hyde Park before and had an impeccable experience, however last night was extremely disappointing. It started off with being seated with only 2 menus for the entire party of 11, we had to ask our server after 15 minutes to please give us more menus. We continually waited a long time for anything, drinks, refills, silverware, we even had to ask for a chair because they didn't have enough for our party. While I understand it can take a long time to serve a larger party waiting 20-30 minutes between each course was a little excessive, we actually waiting 30 minutes to get 3 desserts for the entire table. When it was time for the check we again had to flag down our server who was just hanging out at the bar just to pay. The food was great, and the ambiance is lovely but it was extremely frustrating to be waiting so long for everything. This is usually our go to for a nice celebratory dinner but I'm not sure if I want to gamble with such poor service again.

We had an excellent dining experience. The service was exceptional, the food was absolutely perfect and cooked just as we asked. From start to finish, it was an awesome dining experience and we will see you again.

It's was really good at usual. We go about once a year. Food was good, I thought they served bread but didn't anymore. Steaks were amazing!

Steak I had was chewy. My wife's steak was good. Our waitress was excellent and live music was great. Noise level around the restaurant was loud so hard to hear the guy singing sometimes. Over all was pretty good would expect all the steaks to be excellent for the price.

Had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. Seated immediately which was nice. Overall impression is the restaurant has lovely decor. Was a bit noisy due to live music in other room. Wait staff- found it to be a bit slow, but they were very nice. Appetizers- the lobster “eacargo style” was just ok as a different take on lobster. The bacon dish was delicious Entrees- 3 of us had steak and we all agreed that it didn't live up to expectations. The ribeye was cooked as ordered it was extremely chewy. The other person had a burger and it was dry. Dessert was a smore's- it was very decadent and delicious. Cocktails - had the hibiscus cosmopolitan- the presentation came with a smokey bubble- very fun!
