Beautiful place! Me and my husband shared the gyoza aka 6pc pork dumplings. Then we shared shrimp tempura roll, california roll, and angies roll. Angies roll was GREAT! All in all the food across the board was excellent. I had Friday special $3.95 Bahama mama. Great service all around from several people. We will be back.

I love a good bowl of Miso soup and they didn't disappoint! it was delicious and flavorful! i also had a plate of veggie fried rice and some edamame. The restaurant is fairly large and has many different options for seating! They offer half price sushi on the evening i was there which was a Monday. The waiter was extremely nice and brought plenty of refills!

Great decor and great service. Was seated promptly and booths are very comfortable and private. I had sushi and my son had the teriyaki kids plate. I was amazed with how much food they gave my son for the kids price. My son could be picky at time but he really enjoyed his meal he loved it. I had different types of sushi and it was so good and fresh. We also order tempura shrimp and veggies and they were great. My husband had their teriyaki dinner and he also loved it. We will definitely go back We were very satisfied. It's located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking always a plus with me.

I visited with a team of coworkers for lunch, a spur of the moment visit and Ichiban was able to easily accommodate our large party within minutes of our arrival. It was a warm classic Japanese restaurant, with a sushi bar and separate bar area. We sat at a booth, and were immediately greeted by our server. We had the pleasure of being served by a few people at the restaurant, all delightful and patient with our large group. The food was great, authentic, and made fresh, great portion sizes and delicious. I had the "Big Mike" roll pictured below, and the salmon on top had a nice smoky flavor, and an enjoyable texture. My friends ordered warm plates and they were huge, they were also happy with the flavor. I'm a sushi fan, and ichiban will definitely be a place I visit when I'm on this side of town.

So far I've only had the general tso's chicken and for the price it was not great. You can get much better at any Chinese food restaurant around town for half the price. The atmosphere is lovely and I look forward to going back and giving their sushi a try.

The restaurant is very clean and tastefully decorated, and the service is always excellent. I have been craving sushi lately so my husband and I headed to Ichiban for lunch. The fish was fresh and well-presented. We also had gyoza and miso soup. This is probably the best sushi restaurant in the Greenwood area, but it is pricy. Our lunch came to $86.60 with tip (and it was only the two of us). Not somewhere I would eat on a regular basis but for a sushi splurge it's great. I do wish the owner Sammy was around like he used to be, but we have not seen him here in years. According to Google he still owns Ichiban so perhaps we will see him sometime - I hope so!
