I was a night shift regular at this exact ihop location but this was the second time I received a horrible experience. Got off work and was looking forward to the chicken sandwich with gravy. Sandwich came out looking perfect but I asked for no pickles but there was pickles. Didnât check up on us and just brought us our check ate my side and had to wait to even let them know it was wrong by that time me and my wife was ready to go. I didnât want this exact dish to go because I know it wouldnât be good reheated or sitting in that to go package because it would get soggy. Tried to ask for a refund and just get charged for my side of pancakes but she told me there was no one there who had the power to give me a refund so I had to take it to go. She said it would take only 6mins to come out after I she said it wasnât possible for a refund so I pay for my check and wait 15mins just to get a sandwich that had a burnt chicken breast and burnt hash browns on it which I didnât realize until I got home to get the soggy mess. Instead of being petty I thought being nice and I still tipped well despite my frustration to find out I was give a burnt sandwich. The first one wasnt burnt but perfect just had pickles. She wasnât rude or anything i think it was 100% the cookâs fault they should be held reliable if the manager sees this. This happened December 5th around 5:30-5:50am so you can know which employees were on that shift. This next part is for the customers to explain my first bad experience. This was about 3-4 months ago i donât think that employee works there anymore so probably wonât get any punishment for it but I came alone this time and got the same thing the waiter took my order and never came back wasnt even the one who dropped my food off the food was what I expected but I didnât get to leave when I was done because I couldnât pay for my food because I was never checked up on I couldnât get any refills or anything.and then when I got a random employee they had to call her for her login ig idk but when I put 0$ for tip that random employee who was taking my payment said âyou not gonna tip?â I almost yelled at her but I didnât I sat waiting for 30+ minutes after I got done with my food I got no service why would I tip I couldâve just got it to go if that was the case.
