Indy's Famous Pancake House & Grill

We have dined in this restaurant several times. I never want to undermine anyone's livelihood. I will just say the #atmosphere is #comfortable. #Familystyle #booths mostly. The service is personal, friendly, and attentive every time. When it comes to food, it comes out very quickly. I highly recommend avoiding the lunch and dinner food as it has pretty consistently come out lukewarm, bland, flavorless, or soggy. They truly shine with their #breakfast menu. You cannot go wrong with the omelets, French toast, eggs, etc. Order breakfast! Just being super honest because I tried several times and that's my experience.

Visited today for the first time and had a fantastic experience. Great service and atmosphere. We got the huevos divorciados and the Mexi Breakfast Tacos. Honestly the tacos were a very safe and vanilla choice and I regret it. It was fine, just not the flavor I was looking for. The huevos divorciados on the other hand…I wanted to lick the plate. So many incredible, traditionally and nontraditional breakfast items as well as cocktails, and a delectable selection of desserts brought in fresh from Chicago. Highly recommend!!! I know⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A place to get a meal. Sadly, I don't recall what I ate.

The service was ok . I wish they had tamales through out the week and not just on weekends. I had they food truck was absolutely amazing I think I might just stick with the food truck

I recently revisited after a couple of years, and my experience on 9/21/24 reminded me why I hadn't been back in a while. Marketed for its breakfast offerings, they fell short of expectations this time.
My daughter ordered the pancake combo with birthday-style pancakes. While visually appealing, she only managed to eat a portion of them, suggesting they weren't as tasty as they looked. I opted for the Irish eggs Benedict with fried potatoes. The potatoes were the highlight of the meal, crispy and well-seasoned. However, the corned beef hash seemed canned and lacked flavor, disappointing for a key component of the dish.
The overall quality didn't justify the price point. For a restaurant specializing in breakfast, I expected better. The lackluster food and value for money were the major letdown.
On a positive note, the service was prompt, and the restaurant maintained a clean, family-friendly atmosphere. However, these factors weren't enough to overcome the underwhelming food quality.

The workers act like they are doing you a favor
Instead of treating you like a guest. Our waitress was very sweet and I felt like she was too good to work there. It was so hot in there that I felt sick when I left. Food was only average and NOT worth the money!

Oh my, a great surprise and delight for breakfast. The stuffed french toast was the best ever tasted. The portions are huge and coffee was tasty also. Also, brought home "hot" tamales and they were full of chicken and pork. A new favorite place. Prices were reasonable and the service was very good.

We went out of our way to visit on a road trip. It was very expensive, but we had hoped the unique experience was worth it. Ultimately the food wasn't very good and even at 9 am it had more of a dive bar feel than a diner.

Doordashed food from here. The meat lovers skillet and eggs Benedict were good HOWEVER the cannoli we ordered came covered in mold. See the picture for reference, it was disgusting. The filling being green made it so I didn’t notice at first and I bit into it. Thankfully I immediately noticed after and was able to spit it out. So so gross! Beware their pastries, I will not be ordering again. DoorDash thankfully refunded us even though it was the restaurants fault.

$3.83 for a soda or coffee. If you need more... service was attentive but cold/borderline rude. The food was just okay but either too bland or too spicy depending on the dish; whoever was cooking doesn't know how to balance seasoning.

Food truck- I asked for a steak burrito and they gave me beef. The burrito was soggy and overpriced. A total waste of money

Said they can’t do chips on the side for nachos I’m just I’m tryna figure out when did Walmart start selling frozen chips with meat on top will not be returning did not wanna give sauce for both nachos and tacos which were purchased …poor customer service and worker tried to act like he didn’t know

Stopped by for a late brunch while leaving town for a youth soccer game. Google reviews were good. Got the Mexican breakfast quesadilla and a whole variety of pancakes. Met all expectations of the group. But, did not exceed them. Would return if the opportunity presented itself.
