This place is a staple of downtown Indy whenever I'm in town. We planned our return trip from Atlanta to Wisconsin just so we could stop at Jack's! The owner is the best in the biz.

I Ordered the jacks dozen online. Upon arriving, they didn’t say anything about substitutions. They were too busy talking. I realized when I got to my car there were 3 substitutions. They were out of 2 blueberry filled and 1 sour cream cake. I Went back in to get something my kid will actually eat. Focused on replacing the substitutions I didn’t realize they also gave me two cake donuts in place of the strawberry iced yeast and the chocolate iced yeast. They were NOT marked unavailable and they definitely had at least the strawberry iced yeast because I saw it. Additionally, I only received 12 out of the 24 donut holes. Terrible service today. The Staff acted like I was being difficult for wanting better substitutions or at least the right to choose my substitutions. I ordered 1 cake donut and received 5! Do better!

The donuts and drinks are great! The one guy working at the front was so rude! He made smart comments about everyone getting along and then was yelling at us as we walked out. My friend was trying to place an order and they ignored her, and helped other people who came in after us.

It was late in the day so the selection of donuts was limited. The chocolate old fashioned was about what you would expect, it is a tough donut to make great. The glazed raised was very good, the most classic of donuts done well. Coffee was average. Over all worth the walk.
I ordered a half dozen donuts to be delivered. They put my iced donuts in a bag instead of a box. When I received my order, the donuts were all melted together and a huge sloppy mess. PLEASE, use a box when multiple donuts are ordered.

A pleasant surprise it was to run into the donut shop! We were on our way from the Indy 500 parade back to our parking lot and stopped here. The donuts were great and well balanced flavors. The matcha latte was a perfect pairing. The location definitely has some views when you walk outside. Bussin!
