Good food! Never had any problems.
On Saturday we surprised my mom with a retirement party after the Walk to Defeat ALS downtown. We catered with Jimbo's, working with Jimbo and coordinating pick up times, etc was very easy. Everyone loved the food (my uncle had 3 plates!) We will definitely work with Jimbo's in the future!
One simple recommendation: order the rib tips! No sauce needed in my humble opinion (i.e. their smoked meat is flavorful by itself). Not to mention, the owners & staff are all good, friendly people.Hope this establishment sticks around for a long time.
The brisket was quite mediocre. The barbecued beans however, we're pretty good. It was carry out only, and I shouldn't have left a six dollar tip. They wouldn't even give me a glass of water to go with my two meals. I later found out I was overcharged by more than $10.
I tried Jimbos BBQ for the very first time today the staff were all super nice and friendly people! The food was amazing and I don’t eat bbq much but I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Great food!!! Thankyou and we will be back!!!
2nd time visiting Jimbo's & their rib tips never fail! Mac & cheese & garlic mashed potatoes delicious as well!! Food is delicious, please support your neighborhood business!!
My Dad took me here for the first time, and I was extremely impressed!
Absolutely delicious pulled pork!! Definitely will come back next time I’m in Indianapolis!
Best most tender & moist flavored brisket, chicken, & pork & great personal service & prices. My family's new favorite BBQ restaurant & their prices can't be beat.

Great BBQ! Will definitely go back.
The Rib Tips, Mac and Cheese are delicious but, the Baked Beans had a way to much Chilli Powder in them. Other than that I highly recommend this place.
The brisket was moist and tender. Ribs were good without the sauce. Will be going there for my Bar-B-Q from now on!
Reminds me of Dreamland in Alabama (which is high praise)!
Tried Jimbo's for the first time today. You can smell the yumminess from outside, mmm!Friendly service, and order was accurate. Order was ready quickly. My husband ordered brisket and sausage, he said it was pretty good. My son ordered the pulled pork combo with baked beans and mac n cheese and loved it, my other son got the kids pulled pork and mac n cheese and said it was so yummy! I got the rib tips with slaw and potato salad. When I get rib tips, I always find myself comparing them with King Rib... Jimbo's rib tips are meatier, but also fattier than King Rib... they do have good flavor though. The potato salad was really good and the cornbread was SO delicious. The sauces were pretty good too! I preferred the Kansas City sauce, Texas was a favorite of everyone else. They also have Memphis and Carolina sauce.Give them a try, they're food is good and I'd be interested in trying more of their menu items. We were stuffed... good portion sizes!
