We had eaten here before and enjoyed it very much. However stopped in today and wasn’t pleased at all, to begin with I was charged $7 for a piece of smoked sausage. The smoked sausage was overcooked and dry. When my sister questioned the price on her ticket verses the price on the menu she was pretty much told this is how we do it. My wife and I finally got to Jimmy’s and we are glad we did. The 1st thing my wife said when we arrived was, “WOW, everything is clean and shiny! Even the air vets on the ceiling were dust free!” It didn’t stop there though, we talked to Jimmy, Beth and Cricket and they were all super nice and down-to-earth people! The food was great! We had breakfast and everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! So much food too! I highly recommend this spot during the week...
We happened upon this special little place on the way from Indiana to Wisconsin. We got to the diner about 40 minutes before closing time and we were told very sweetly to have a seat! Our server was so kind and so fun! I had a BIG breakfast consisting of a waffle, 2 scrambled eggs, home fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, buttered toast, sausage links, and bacon... whew!!
