I do not recommend.
The fish sandwich was really bad, you can do better at home with some frozen fish. I have had the lobster roll in the past and it does not meet expectations for the price. Definitely not worth the trip. Considering the location and foot traffic here, you would expect better food. They really need to revisit the menu selection and improve on quality of food.

I was really intrigued by all the lobster items over here and husband really wanted to try the Lobster Mac & Cheese so that's what we got.
The mac and cheese itself was quite creamy and cheesy, but I wasn't a fan of how the lobster went with it.
But I think that's just me the topic of seafood related pastas.
Husband definitely enjoyed this though!

I had the crab cakes. They tasted fishy and had no flavor. I couldn't finish them. The hush puppies tasted pretty good, but we're overcooked on the outside.

Lobster grilled cheese had no flavor but butter from the bread. Barely any cheese, and the lobster was bland. Fries were soggy, even though it was fresh, hushpuppies were burnt and dry. I hate cole slaw and it was ok... so slight bonus for that. But when asked if i could swap the cole slaw, the lady said no. Worst $40 I spent on a lunch. Won't recommend or send anyone this way.

I got the Works Roll with fries. For $45 it was ok. My cold sandwich was put on top of hot fries in a plastic container. It took me about 20 min to get home. Bread was soggy by the time I got to it. I couldn't tell if it was really toasted but it was buttery.
Shrimp & lobster on sandwich were good but crab was bland. There was no Old Bay seasoning (or any other seasoning). Sandwich also had too much mayo. Bread was the only thing with flavor.
Price did NOT match quality.

Made a $100 mistake eating at this food truck at Daniel’s Vineyard yesterday. $24 for a tiny, stringy, borderline inedible lobster rolls. Pieces of shell in the sandwich too. The lobster Mac and cheese was dry and tasetless. This place is a JOKE for what they are charging vs. what they are serving. Will never eat it again, you have been warned!

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, only to be told they sold out of all soups. No clam chowder, no lobster bisque. Seriously? How about you have some back up soup started so you can keep serving? My husband had a lobster roll and bit into a STONE on his very first bite! When he showed the girl at the register, he got a blank stare. Lastly, I ordered a dessert “roll” which was supposed to be buttered, toasted, and dusted with cinnamon…I got an $8 slice of bread with whipped cream and strawberry sauce. This was our LAST visit.

I was introduced to J’s some time ago by my co-worker. My wife and I tried it and loved it!….. the first time. I posted a review about how good I thought it was. Unfortunately ever visit since has been less and less appealing. Today was my final visit. The lobster roll was more expensive and less tasty than the last time I was there, AND I bit into a large stone that was in the lobster meat. I’m very thankful it didn’t chip or break my teeth!!! I finished the roll, with slow and calculated chews.
When I returned the tray to the counter, I left the stone on the tray to show the cashier. I told her I found the stone in the lobster meat, and I got a blank stare in return…no acknowledgment at all of the problem. Higher price, lesser quality, debris in the food product and NO customer service….
That, ladies and gentlemen, is why I will not spend another penny of my money at J’s Lobster & Fish Market

The service and the environment is good but I don't think the food is worth the price (I paid $28 on a lobster roll and it's only a few bites and mostly chips)
