This is a quaint little place My first time going and I love the chicken wings but my fries were a bit overdone. The chicken had a nice breading and very flavorful and so I would go back for chicken but not the french fries. I am not a person that can eat spicy food so that's probably the only thing I'll ever be able to eat I had heard this place was good so if you like Cajun or jerk food this probably is the place for you.

The Og way was not fully described to me. Thought I was getting chicken breast not chopped chicken. Fries tasted real old and unseasoned. I would not recommend the OG way to nobody and please don’t go that way.

I was told this place was the bomb!!! I would tend to rate it as a good 🧨 firecracker. I was looking for Sunday like Dinner, ended up with French fries with jerk meat, a decent array of aoli sauces. I believe there is something there fighting to get out, waiting to grow into something spectacular, but is hindered by limited vision. Note, there is not seating.

I love giving reviews especially good ones, but this one's not going to be all that swell. My husband has pulled up to this place a couple of times, long waits every time, however, I never had an urge to try his food. But one day he brought some jerk fries home, he always bragging on it so much that I just had to find out what the hype was all about that day, besides the fact I was extremely hungry at that moment. I took 2 bites and it was a no for me. I've had jerk chicken before and this wasn't it. Seems more barbecue (ish) Then I found out how much he paid for it, which was crazy and definitely not worth all that! Sorry but it's a no for me, a big NO, not the little one.

Bruh the jerk eggrolls is so good but they SUCK at keeping them!!. I could understand if they were serving off a truck but they are not why not make more of whats a hot commodity? Stupid to me and actually pisses me off. Make more come on

Amazing food, definitely going again. The Jerk Fries hit the spot, saucy, cheesy, and just absolute fire. The spiciness level is just enough that it feels good and you don't need water, so perfect for me. It makes it hot and yet you can survive on your own 😂. I liked the fact that there's three menu items, I don't like standing around deciding for ten minutes deciding what to eat. It reminds me of the OG fast food places. Fast it was indeed, in and out in five minutes. Good bang for your buck. No indoor seating is the only issue as there is no place to hangout, so it's a grab your food and go kind of situation.

I tried this spot back when they first opened in Lafayette Square and thought the fries were actually really good! That said, with a name like theirs, I was expecting more traditional soul food—the kind of dishes many of us are used to seeing on a Sunday: greens, fried chicken, fried fish, mac & cheese, yams, meatloaf, etc. Instead, the menu seemed centered around just one main item, prepared a few different ways.
To me, it felt more like comfort food than what I’d personally consider soul food. The menu was also extremely limited—honestly, I’ve seen food trucks with more variety. I was a bit disappointed because I came in with high hopes based on the name, and it just didn’t match the vibe I expected
