Maybe my expectations were too high from some of the reviews, but I left feeling somewhat underwhelmed and like I overpaid for very basic food. We had the hot sticky stix and a CBR pizza. The hot honey stix were hardly sauced and most def not sticky. The pizza wasn't bad, but also wasn't anything special. You are definitely paying for the vibe here so if that is your thing, you will probably love it! Our server took our order and then brought a box with the check, she was perfectly nice, but I would have liked a little check in and perhaps more water along the way.

I am a huge fan of these pizzas, which is why I keep coming back! However, every time I place an order for pick up I let them know I’m there and they tell me my pizza isn’t ready, I wait for 10 minutes only for the worker to then realize that it’s been sitting in the pick up closet the entire time. 60% of my pizzas have been cold bc of this. Still good though. I’m not a complainer usually and I mean obviously I keep going back for more even if the pizzas cold and pricy, but it’s become a trend so I’m just writing this as feedback.. maybe there is a better system? Idk.
Anyway.. the pizzas good. I love the Fungi Ricky. I recommend eating in so your food is fresh and can’t get lost!

The Elevator and Airplane Finder
I’ve been to so many different pizza joints across Indianapolis but the lone one I had yet to go to was King Dough. I’ve heard a lot of great things about them so we finally decided to give them a try.
Came at around 6 PM on a Thursday and they weren’t too busy so we got seated instantly. Our waitress was nice and attentive to our table. We started with an order of 16 buffalo wings as an app. Those were great! Crispy, flavorful, and the ranch was good.
I then got myself an 8” create your own with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Overall, I was blown away! The pizza was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust. The toppings were tasty. All around a great pizza.
Overall, first experience at King Dough, a success! If you’re in Indy craving pizza, King Dough is a good spot! I’ll be back.

Went there for dinner and had the margarita pizza and a salad. It was delicious! Everything was fresh and tasty. The pizza is not thick but the crust was. Great service and it was quick. Recommend checking it out when you’re in Indy.
