⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our first visit to Indianapolis for my husband’s birthday was made even more memorable thanks to Kountry Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely top-tier. Tonisha was our server and she provided the utmost attention to detail, offering spot-on recommendations tailored to our tastebuds — and she didn’t miss! Her warm energy and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience. We were also privileged to meet Mrs. Cyn, one half of the incredible husband-and-wife team behind this amazing restaurant. Her hospitality and passion for what they do radiated throughout the entire place. The food was delicious — rich in flavor, soul, and love. When we return to Indianapolis, Kountry Kitchen will absolutely be one of our first stops. Thank you all for a job well done!
Lives up to the hype! I had the seafood combo with green beans and cabbage.. and that cabbage was the best cabbage I’ve ever had!
Me and my man went here for a dinner and I can’t stop raving about it. The shrimp was as big as my thumb and so crispy. Garlic mashed potatoes were delicious and i wanted to lick the dishes. We will definitely be back! Staff is great!
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!

🔥 Kountry Kitchen is hands down the best spot for soul food in Indy! Every visit feels like coming home to grandma’s house, surrounded by family and love. My go-to meal is the smothered pork chops with sweet potatoes, greens, and mac & cheese.
You must try the Soul Rolls; they’re absolutely delicious! To top it all off, the peach cobbler is everything. If you’re looking for amazing food, warm environment , and that true soul food experience, Kountry Kitchen is the place to be! 🍽️

Excellent food, the service was slightly slow, but not enough for me to really ding them...
I liked everything we tried: fried okra, crab cakes, catfish, pot roast, Mac & cheese & green beans.
Definitely will go back...
Oh yeah we got dessert to go, I'll let you know about the peach cobbler & lemon cake!

Staff unfamiliar with how health code is applicable. Also apparently unaware of things like "no shirt no shoes no service" is nothing more than a common store policy and not law. A customer does not have to wear these articles unless stated as policy, there is no applicable law.
And note to all reading this its over an open button up. So please forgive me for not wishing to a rule made up on the spot and argue when lied to. Do better.

Terrible service. Ordered door dash and it’s been an hour and the food still isn’t ready for pickup. I have also encountered lackluster service when dining in. I want to support this business but the food is meh (some dishes good, some just ok). and when you pair that with a lack of good service, you are better off going somewhere else.

Staff ignorant about who guidelines apply to or chosing to lie about it. If something is store policy state it as such don't lie about it.
This place has great service and food. Definitely recommended and will be going back.

Busy Friday. Service was great! Waitresses were getting our drinks and food to us promptly! Positive vibes and attitudes all around! Owner stopped by the table and said hello! Very welcoming! Love the remodel!!!

Southern rolls need some meat in them. The corn bread was the worst that I have had in my life extra dry. The greens were salty and the dressing tasted like sage was the main ingredient 10/10 do not recommend. The cat fish was cooked to perfection and the pork chop was fried too hard and extra thin. The Mac’n cheese was the best thing on my plate and I don’t even like Mac’n cheese. Overall I will give a 2 star rating.
