Thank you for recognizing the need for your community to have food available after 7pm since most people work and the majority have kids and other affairs to settle before they can shop to feed their families other chains like the Walmart neighborhood market aso on Kentucky ave in indianapolis close their doors at 7pm deeply affecting shoppers from the neighborhood and businesses alike who buy goods and support this business on average most workers from day shift plants in the area or those coming across the congested highways cannot get to stores as soon as they would like I appreciate you dedication to service by realizing that 7pm is way to early for a major grocery store to close especially on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday traditionally bi shopping days

I visited this Kroger location today because I was in the area for work. I needed to grab a couple things on my break. It wasn't a very busy location which i've come to learn is not normal in Indianapolis. The place was very well put together and I even had a wonderful conversation with a lady who worked in the deli. She was very pleasant. My only complaint is some of the conversation over heard by a couple employees.. Felt a little inappropriate to be having out loud in a social setting. Id go back and shop here if i'm in this area!

It’s quite sad that there are Kroger’s like this because some Kroger grocery stores are wonderful to be in. Unfortunately the Low prices don’t make up for the appearance and smell at this location.

I will never be back! On Mother's Day I was picking up last minute things with my husband and kids to take to his Moms' for dinner. My husband was getting a little annoyed about the wait in line so he decided let's just go do self Check out. As he proceeded to turn the cart in that direction...an associate called out that she was opening her line and he could check out with her. All went smoothly UNTIL the end of the transaction! I was told my total and paid it and than I was thinking wait, something doesn't seem right so I asked her, did my $5 come off for buying 5 items? She said well let me see....she proceeded to say: " Well you only bought 2 of those items and I said: No, I was in line and made sure to grab 3 additional items to make it 5. This was a natural convo.. nothing negative or anything until I said: You have a line, it's fine, I will just go to the customer service line and tell them the situation, so I can get it looked at and fixed. She proceeded to get agitated and kept insisting that I bought 2 items! I grabbed my purse up as I didn't care for her lack of customer service and her insinuating that she was right and insinuating that I was a liar! I let her know that I didn't care for her tone and that I wasn't going to get into it with her. She said I didn't call you a liar and I said maybe In not so many words but you continuously standing there trying to argue is ridiculous. When I said you pretty much called me one, she said no I didn't and I said yes you did, this crap went back and forth at least 5-6 times. She not only argued with me she shouted at me all the way til I got to the customer service desk! While my husband intervened as I was on my way to the CS! And asked her "Who are you talking to like that??"and she rolled that head of hers like she's in the streets saying "HER!" In the end I received $3.41 not the full $5. I asked to speak to a manager! Not about the $ difference but that associate...everyone heard her, associates and customers...everything stopped! The disgusting part is that she is co-manager and the Store manager is Jordan who was not there. I've called Corporate about this...I was told that the matter would be escalated...a whole freaking week went by and nothing. So I called again, oh surprise! They said they never saw anything in regards to this! So I told the next rep I wanted a call back from them and got an " I'm putting this in the notes for you to get a callback and still nothing!!!!! They did speak with Jordan who was supposedly going to call his boss and have a meeting about the situation! I give a rats a**! I got no phone call from either corporate or Jordan! No formal apology, no anything!! Forget you Kroger and your lack of addressing customers concerns!!! I've spent plenty of $ more many of years ...Walmart neighborhood store is going to be my new store ... Oh yeah and the co-nasty managers name is Tea....want to get treated like crap go to her! She'll hook you right up!

This Kroger is in need of major updates. Good for a stop on the way home but for full shopping needs I go to the Kroger on Southport Rd.
Gets the job done but definitely not the nicest Kroger. It always seems like a mad house and there are never enough lines open. It seems very limited in what they have. There are things I find at others that I can't find here. It's kind of dirty and feels like everything is backwards. I only go here if I need a few things and it's an emergency. Otherwise my major shopping I go to aldi on Madison. Avoid on fridays as everyone gets their paycheck and it gets super crowded.
