I started enjoying this restaurant when I attended Purdue University back in the very early 1990's. I immediately fell in love with their steak burritos and their hot sauce. For the next several years after that I enjoyed La Bamba quite often. Especially the old Broad Ripple location and the store on Michigan road. It's Taco Tuesday & I felt like treating myself to a super burrito from La Bamba's.. aka "Burritos As Big As Your Head." They've been around at least 30 years because I remember them since my days at Broad Ripple High School. & 30 years later.. They're still just as good.. maybe not quite as big as my head, but definitely as big as my forearm & heavy as a newborn baby! ( just joking..? or am I??)
