Best tlayudas in town

Decided to give this restaurant a try. Ordered a burrito and two tacos. The burrito had no flavor. Rice beans and meat inside. On the side some lettuce with a small dab of sour cream (seriously barely any) and ONE small slice of a Roma tomato. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Finally tried this place out! The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, and yes, authentic. The guacamole was perfect with just a slight bit of jalapeno kick, but not overpowering. The beans and rice were a warm perfect consistency (i.e. not dry, not too mushy). The chicken tacos tasted ok, nothing amazing, but I would come back for this any day. My family enjoyed the margaritas and horchata, which is a must if you want the whole gang to say yes to coming back.

The restaurant itself is an open area with a number of re-purposed tables and what appears to be new chairs. There are a couple TVs on the walls and some nice photos of Mexican dishes as well as a large menu. It first appears to be a walk-up, order at the counter restaurant but the host/server walked up to me and presented a table and menu. It is clean but I did see a cricket cross the floor as I waited for my food. I also noticed a 21 and older room with a pool table. Not sure if that is the only place alcohol is served. The menu is full of many authentic Mexican options but not overly loaded to be mind numbing. They had 13 lunch options that included rice and beans. There were a number of dishes that I would have liked to try. I chose to go with tacos ($3 each) on my first visit. I ordered 2 carne asada and 1 chorizo. After I ordered I was brought chips made of freshly fried sliced tortillas. The chips had quite a bit of oil still on them. Five or six salsas were available at the "salsa bar" (wouldn't call it huge). Salsas were very good and must have been made their as the flavors were fresh and unique. The tacos came with nothing on them but they were loaded with meat. Topping were on the salsa bar. Not lettuce, cheese, sour cream and other Americanized toppings but onions, cilantro, radish slices and pickle onions, chili peppers. Everything was very fresh. The chorizo was the best I have had in some time. I wish I had gotten a second one. To me, the carne asada was a bit dry and hard to chew even with added salsa. I had to do a lot of chewing get get 2 down. They do have bottled Mexican sodas, fountain drinks, bottled water sweet tea and it appeared that they had some alcoholic beverages but I didn't pay close enough attention. I will definitely go back to try some other dishes.

Seriously the best Mexican food we've had around here. Authentic Mexican with amazing flavor. I had a torta, beans and rice, and a tamale. The tortas bread was crispy, the steak was very juicy, and the sauce was creamy. The refried beans were some of the best, not your typical bland Mexican restaurant beans. The tamale was great and unique, it had chicken and probably some pumpkin that gave it a nice mix of savory and sweet. And to top it off, the chips and salsa bar were spectacular. The chips were more thin and crisp than usual. The salsa bar had great vegetables, pico, dried peppers, and quite a few kinds of salsas. Our favorite was the yucateca sauce, a nice creamy, zesty sauce. It's a little of a drive from Westfield, but we certainly will be making it often.

As a Mexican some Mexican restaurants aren't that good but this one is pretty good. They have a decent selection of food, they even have tamales, I would definitely recommend oh and the waiter/cashier is really nice

Superb. The salsa bar is truly one of a kind: fresh, plentiful and tasty. Chicken Milanese is truly the best I have had in a long long time. Everything made to order, service is quick and efficient. We love the appetizers and the desserts as well. We come back again and again.

Delicious, spicy, sweet, bubbly, and excellent service. My favorite was the tamales. The fried ice cream was on point too.

The tacos are super loaded and very filling!! From simple meats like carne asada, chicken, and carnitas to more traditional authentic meats like lengua (beef tongue), tripa (crispy tripe), and al pastor! And don't forget there's a salsa bar!! Huge salsa bar with lots of options for everyone. From super spicy to not spicy delicious sauces for extra flavor. The meals all have home made and comforting flavors that will leave you very satisfied!

The food truly is authentic and the tacos are definitely a staple of Mexican cuisine. Simple but delicious, and there is a salsa bar so you can add your own toppings to your tacos. The horchata is delicious as well and tastes fresh. The vegetables are fresh and the meat is lean and cooked well. There are simpler options like carne asada, chicken, and then more complex options like tripa, lengua, and more. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Prices are also cheap and they carry specialties like menudo and pozole.
