I love this place. The food is always excellent and the service is great. But lately, whoever is in charge of the music has it blaring. I can't even have a normal conversation at the table anymore. Also, could we please be able to sit outside to eat? You have a couple of tables, but not sure why I always get told no.

The food was quite good. Unexpectedly, the humble salsa was the stand out. Ordered the green enchiladas and was not disappointed. It's a fun, festive atmosphere. Also, definitely stop by the bakery a few doors down.

We recently visited and we liked the food, but I want to flag something that bothered us. We were a party of 4 (3 adults and a toddler), but a 15% auto-gratuity was added to our bill, even though their own policy says it’s only for parties of 6 or more. No one mentioned it, and we didn’t notice, so we tipped another 20% on top.
We ended up going back once we realized, and they refunded us, which we appreciate. But still, we shouldn’t have had to catch that ourselves. It felt misleading, and I’d recommend checking your receipt closely before adding a tip.

We came to eat here because the food is really good, but the girl who attended us had a very rude and disrespectful attitude. We ordered to dine in, but the AC was either off or not working—it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, making it impossible to enjoy our meal.
When we mentioned it to her, she seemed annoyed and said she couldn’t do anything about it, but would “try” to lower it. Honestly, if this restaurant offered better customer service, it would be full. The food is delicious, but the staff’s attitude—especially hers—is unwelcoming and dismissive.

I enjoyed an excellent dinner at La Costeñita 2 on 12/12/24… the free chips and salsa were delicious and warm, and my fish ceviche appetizer was amazing, if unexpected (I was expecting flaked white fish in lime juice, but this was a firmer fish, almost like swordfish, cut into small strips in a tangy marinade. I’ll definitely order it again.) The standout dish, though, was the carnitas plate… tender chunks of pork slow-cooked in a flavorful tomatillo sauce with onions. A must-try!
Service could have been more attentive (the appetizer arrived well after the entree and I was not offered a refill on my soda) and the music was a bit loud for my liking, but otherwise I had a pleasant, relaxed dining experience. (Don’t go if you’re in a hurry.)

If I could give zero stars I would. The “employee” little girl at front was RUDE. Gave me a nasty death stare when I asked her for something for my Togo order. DoorDash was also there picking up an order, that had leaked all out of box into bottom of bag. Manager actually REFUSED to remake order and said it wasn’t his problem, when it was obviously their fault. Incredibly disgusting attitudes!!! Food was fair. Wished steak was included in the steak/chicken fajitas I paid for.

Came in with my girlfriend looking for a new mexican place to eat i think we found it the server was so great at explaining the menu and suggesting new entrees they had we order a pizzabirria and it was ??? highly recommend I also ordered the 7 mares soup filled with tons of seafood flavorful we will be back for sure
