My torta was great... no one else liked the food they bought, but the servings were decent. It's my second time here. Waitresses could do a better job at cleaning the tables and benches. I got sat down, and there were crumbs all over. The waitress wasn't great but wasn't rude. I did have better service the first time I came though.
We stopped by La Parada in Indianapolis for lunch, and from the outside, I'll admit it looked a little... let's say "quiet." There wasn't a soul in sight, and we were starting to wonder if we had made the right choice. But stepping inside, it felt like we were transported into a cozy, vibrant Mexican spot with the typical charm you'd expect.

If you live in Indy and are looking for something less expensive and far more authentic than Condado, Bakersfield or the like... you must eat here right now. La Parada is tucked away on the Near East Side of Indy on New York Street.
I don't know of anywhere else nearby where you can get a tongue taco! And their Horchata is what's up!
