I had a chance to stop at labadee House, it was a great experience, goat is ? that legumes was delicious, and of course cool respectful guys, can't wait to visit you guys again.
Great, authentic Haitian food experience and friendly chef and owner. We tried as much as we could on the menu: goat, legumes, whole fish, pikliz and fried plantains. All were great. My girlfriend asked the chef to have the fish stewed instead of fried, she accommodated the request and it was excellent. The legumes and pikliz were my favorite items. Also, I'm not usually a huge fried plantain guy, but thought the fried plantains were some of the best I've ever had (thin and crispy, not greasy). Not much in terms of decor inside but plenty of tables and space - it's definitely an authentic cultural cuisine experience, you won't feel like you're in Indiana.
I came here for the first time to get some food, the guy at the register was rude and let me stood there, while chatting with 2 other customers who came after me. I was about to leave when he remembered I was there and asked what I wanted with an attitude. Took the order and left it on the counter to go chat with the 2 other customersagain, while bragging about his life accomplishment. Bref, poor customer service. Rude staff. I give it 2 stars because food was ok, but very small portion for the money
Best Haitian spot in town.I'm there every week. That's where I get my food for the week.
Ordered the pork meal to go, everything was hot and fresh and tasted delicious! Good serving size too. The veggie fritter things (okra?) were the bomb!
I stopped in for a late lunch and the place was empty except for the staff. I like Caribbean food but their choices were new to me. The cashier was helpful in making recommendations. I ordered fish and she warned me it was a whole fish. It was tasty but pricey and really too much for lunch. They really need a separate lunch menu with smaller servings at lower prices. I will return occasionally but only for dinner unless they fix the menu.
very good traditional Haitian food! Friendly service and fast. looking forward to eating here again.
Hands down the best Haitian restaurant in Indy. Trust me I’ve tried damn near them all. This place reminds me of the Florida Haitian restaurants.
Instead of going to the big companies and chain brand stop at a locals and support. Great Service and delicious food . Young lady that Took my order was helpful and awesome.
Was disappointed to say the least. Was happy to stop in and try, let down by the taste of the food. $50 spent nice portions the coleslaw was the best thing in the meal. I had the red snapper and my husband had the chicken. We both were disappointed in the flavorless meal.
Restaurantji Recommends
My husband and I wanted to try their food very badly, but the experience was ok kinda. I ordered some taso kabrit and fritay.. the fritay taste good and the plantains is perfect too. Taso kabrit is dry, looks more like a fried meat. Taso kabrit didn’t have any sause that would make it soft. I got some rice as well, my husband said it’s perfect. Next time add a little bit of sause to the taso.. overall, great experience since I enjoyed it!
Definitely will recommend this place for authentic Haitian Food. Friday platter is a must-have. The only reason giving 4 stars is due to the picklis ... needing some Hot ? habanero. In addition, the Acra had too many Thymes, not too greasy Overall I was very satisfied
Great customer service, fast service & great food. One of my favorite Haitian restaurants on the West side. Portions are huge & prices are very reasonable.
Amazing food but they don’t have macaroni gratiné or crémas :(
Their food is amazing as well as their customer service!
