Was closed on a Tuesday when I tried to go. Last time I went, was a pretty mediocre experience.

It’s permanently closed as of 1/13/25. FYI
We stood there for like 10 minutes while the servers were passing by us and no one seated us down ! Not even acknowledged that we were there standing. That was so irritating!

Service was excellent. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the food was abysmal and gastronomic abuse. The hollandaise was broken. Salmon tasted like it was left in the sun for three days. The avocado toast was…on a raw untoasted bagel and blacked avocado? Pancakes were microwave quality. Should have eaten at the hotel.

Service was great. The restaurant was clean and felt new. The food? We were traveling and I tried something new, it was good.
The price seemed reasonable for the area.

This was disappointing to say the least. I've been coming here for 15 years. This was always my place to eat breakfast while in Indy. I've raved about it, recommended it I have never waited so long for breakfast in my life. The restaurant was only half full. It was a good 10-15 minutes before we even saw our server Micah. Then she spilled a whole tray of our waters. Waited some more. She came. Took out drink orders. That was fine. Disappeared. Finally came back and got our food orders. Then she disappeared for at least a half hour before checking on us. Then is was still another half hour for our food. People that came in after us had come in, eaten, paid and left. It was a hour and a half before we got our food. She was nice. But only one mention of sorry for the wait. The table that came after us got their drinks for free for their wait. We didn't get anything. We had 3 Great American breakfast and 1 sandwich. It wasn't complicated. We were nice to her and not rude but it reflected in our tip that service sucked. And my friends will probably not be coming back since half of our food was cold.

The server was very nice but the wait for our food was very long considering we were the only people there. The coffee was very good but the food was bland. My husband complained there was absolutely no seasoning on the eggs or hash browns, and our children who love pancakes found them to be very tasteless here. I ordered the oatmeal, which was only ok. I expected at a restaurant that is so well reviewed to get something with steel cut or rolled oats, not a basic packaged instant.

Great food and a lot of it, huge selection, pricey but it is the city, atmosphere is basic, but it is a great retreat with comfort food with flare. Clean bathrooms and large bathrooms however I would suggest to the management to get rid of the bathroom sink nozzles that spray everywhere. They don’t seem to work or get your hands very clean customers. Be careful when you use them they get spray water on your clothes when you put your hands under the water, friendly staff and no one there when we went so we had the whole place to ourselves on a weekday.
Vegetarian options: Lots of options unless you’re vegan
Kid-friendliness: Large space, large menu, good restrooms
Wheelchair accessibility: Two doors to get through at entrance but open rolling inside and large room bathrooms

We were the only ones in the restaurant , it took forever to get our food. The Custard French Toast was horrible, it tasted burnt, the cubed potatoes were over seasoned and not good at all, and they need more cook time, the 2 pieces of bacon were cold . Husband's was just editable but he hated the biscuits and the potatoes also thought they were over seasoned. Had to ask the waitress for a refill of coffee, told her what we thought about the meal which we didn't eat it and she didn't say anything but "Oh I'm sorry" no discount and I had to go give her the check so we could pay and leave because she was to busy talking to a off duty employee. This place is Very Overpriced and not worth it. We went on Friday June 14 at 8:30 am and it was dead , so it shouldn't have taken so long to get our food and it not be good, also it didn't help that the waitress was to busy talking to the kitchen and the off duty employee. We won't be coming back...
