Supports workers and good causes while serving the best ice cream in Indianapolis
The business is local, the owners are genuinely good people, and the ice cream is amazing
They only have two vegan flavors but both are outstanding! The texture is perfect and thick, the flavor is rich and sweet, and they hit the spot! Nothing else is vegan though (they have ice cream cookie sandwhiches but the cookies are not vegan). The milkshakes are not vegan either.
when I have ice cream, I want to taste dairy: cream, milk, and butterfat. so many ice creams fixate on the inclusions or being creative to the point of being over the top saccharine, sticky and unrecognizable.
Not this.
Lick Indy is what it is: ice cream as the first and lasting flavor.

Best ice cream I’ve ever had, honestly. I literally day dream about the brown butter cookie dough!! But I’ve never had a flavor I didn’t like. So rich and creamy. If you get a milkshake it elevates by 1000000x
Amazing ice cream! I really love the raspberry cheesecake flavor ?

My favorite ice cream shop in the city
Perhaps my favorite ice cream in Indy and they always have at least one vegan option.

I love this place! Their flavors are unique, and the people are so friendly. My spouse and I like to walk our dogs down the Monon to get Lick on Friday evenings.
Little hole in the wall ice cream shack, but they have great flavors and it's really good ice cream. Good small local vibes. Vegan options too.

It was ok. The ice cream was kind of gritty and could have used more flavor. Probably better than Kroger brand, but not as good as other homemade places.
