This was a cool little noodle bar with a small but effective menu. Service was quick, prices were reasonable, and the food was extremely good. We loved it.

Horrible customer service, employee cussed out customers.
Last night the dan dan noodles were so spicy I had to throw them out. $22.00 wasted.

This is the second time I’ve had to deal with this one ☝🏾 specific person I’m guessing is the chef . But his or her attitude sucks customer service is completely horrible. I asked for my meal to be prepared to go. I leave to to to the juice bar to get my smoothie, I come back my meal is completely uncovered . There wasn’t a top on it I then asked for a top he or she pointed at the top and top me they were right infront of me . I noticed that the broth wasn’t in my meal last time for me to add To my meal once I got to destination. Well the broth was added to my meal so the food would be soggy or make mess in my car luckily I tied the bag correctly which I had to bag my self . All the broth ended up in my bag do to someone actually driving on the wrong side of the road and I had to come to a complete stop . So think if they had better employees preparing the meals with better customer I would recommend , but front this experience would not recommend this place I have been to better places in the city and I would suggest paying more for better service this was my second experience I’ve had I will not be returning until I notice a different person at the front desk . The person serving is not a good idea for that particular business I wonder why I don’t see people crowded like the other places I eat there in the garage .

I regret I didn't order more.
I got the buns and they were a must try, so upset I never had any of the noodles they are known for!
The staff was very friendly!

The bad reviews are kinda crazy. I don't ordinarily like ramen, but the tight-knit crew of pirate cooks behind the noodle bar at Lil Dumplings has made some very interesting dishes. Their menu does change with the seasons because, yes, this crew really does take their craft to a new level with dishes that might be familiar but most certainly have a bit of soul from those that are making them to order for you.
If you're iffy about a dish or it's ingredients, TALK to one of them! There's always something you can change or add within reason. They look plenty shy, but the crew over at Lil Dumplings are very nice, polite, and creative humans... what's more, they love their work and working with each other. Treat them with respect, and you'll get a healthy dose of love in you noods.
This place is hands down one of my favorite spots, and I'm a regular customer, popping in at least once a week. You can see on all their faces how much they enjoy people coming back for seconds. It's not just ramen. It's a sweet moment for a long day.

Like other reviews have mentioned (if only we had checked before coming here!), the food is *extremely* salty. We got the Chili Crunch Noodles and the Cold Udon Noodles, and could barely finish them because of the overwhelming saltiness.
I also agree that the portion sizes are relatively small - I actually appreciate when portions are reasonable, but then I also expect to pay less. $16 for a small bowl of noodles is a lot, especially when the quality isn't great.
Pretty disappointed overall, I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they are listening to the years of feedback about the saltiness, so we can't justify ever giving it a second chance.
If you like expensive instant romen and service with an attitude, this is the place.
