Guilty pleasure. That's what LJS is to us. About once a year, we get a craving, and head out. We never regret it, but, we're never in a hurry to go back.We visited on November 1st this year, as it was national deep fried clams day, and what better place to dive into some oh so good/bad deep fried food than this place?Because of COVID-19, they're drive through only (Which makes sense, as the dining room seems pretty small and social distancing would be difficult).I ordered fried shrimp with a side of clams, and everything was wonderfully decadent. Nice and crispy, good stuff. GREAT stuff? No, but, let's face it, you don't go here for a great meal. You go here for a good meal and a reasonable price.Service was fine at the drive through, no complaints and the food was served in a reasonable amount of time. Staff was cordial and friendly.We enjoyed our splurge, Long John. We'll see you next year!

Food was great but whoever was working the drive through window was RUDE. very rude. I work in customer service so im always as nice as I can be and try to get my order to them quickly and I’ve never been treated so poorly for no reason. Snippy and told me “can u wait I need to ring this in”.Then proceeded to watch me through the window checking my bag to make sure there’s silverware.

I had an issue with my drive thru experience 2 days ago at this location, and I mentioned it when I filled out the survey on the back of the receipt. Today the manager, Caroline, actually CALLED me directly. She was extremely polite and apologetic. She was honest, and she was real. This interaction totally replaced the bad experience. The food is good and I WILL be back

11:53 in afternoon and the doors are locked . THTow the whole store away. not to mention the line is wrapped around the building.. Needless to say I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION.

This place has never let me down in the past. I hadn't eaten here in a long while, but decided to stop for dinner. I ended up the same thing I have always gotten in the past, 2 fish, 1 chicken, add 3 shrimp along with sides. Who can't resist the crunchies they serve..???Unfortunately, LJS is not the same quality that I remember from years ago. The fish was overcooked and pretty much dry, the chicken was a bit rubbery, I will say that the shrimp wasn't too bad. I had corn and green beans as my sides and they were pretty well seasoned but I could tell that the sizes had gotten smaller.It was a little late in the evening when I went and I assume that maybe I had gotten the leftovers but, totally unacceptable in my book. Don't anticipate I'll be going back anytime soon.

The older guy at the drive thru window needs to work on his friendly skills. He's insufferably unpleasant for no good reason. No manners either, no please or thank you, what ever happened to that? Pendleton Pike, Washington St, Noblesville, all very nice people... anywhere but this location.

Very well kept and accessible place. They serve generous portions and for economical prices. I liked the menu a lot and the staff were super personal and informative. I recommend this place.
