LouVino Indianapolis Mass Ave Restaurant & Wine Bar

Service and ambiance were great! AC was not fully functioning since it was a tad warm in there. Food was OK. I'm sensitive to salt and most of the food was way too salty for my taste. Others thought it was good but not amazing.

Went for a Saturday brunch. Great bloody mary - although they didn't have any blue cheese olives :-(. Server was very nice but needed training. When we ordered eggs benedict, he asked whether we wanted the eggs scrambled or over easy 😳. He forgot who ordered what, and when two of us split a dish he didnt bring an extra plate. Chicken and waffles, and biscuits and gravy were good, but the hash brown casserole was inedible. Like, what the heck are they trying to do with that? Extremely bland, no cheese, it tasted like potatoes with maybe(?) cream of mushroom soup on it? It was really unique in a bad way.

Delicious brunch prior to a performance of Wicked around the corner. Food was perfect, donuts and eggs benedict...along with the bloody mary. Waiter was super friendly and made the extra effort to find the blue cheese stuffed olives for the drink. Totally recommend.

The food was delicious as always, but their air conditioning was out, so it was quite warm. It would have been nice if they had reached out to let us know, and they didn't even mention it when we arrived or when we were seated. It took an unusually long time for our waiter to come by, and he was slow throughout this meal. With it being so hot, it seemed ridiculous that we had to ask for ice water. We will definitely be back based on many previous visits, but this was a very off night on what should have been a fun night out for dinner and a show.

The AC was out when it was over 90 degrees outside, with no warning. We didn't get a water refill until close to our departure, which made it super uncomfortable on the stifling heat. Our service also took a long time in general, we got our food with 10 minutes left to spare before our departure (we had arrived 1.75 hours early for our show).

Loved the biscuit board. Can't really say it was jam, it was more like berry syrup, but good. Crab cake egg Benny, just ok. Wish we'd gone with the fried green tomatoes! The loaded tot bites and homemade ranch were delightful! The service was great!

Food was outstanding as was the service. The crispy shrimp and grits was expertly prepared. The cook conflate crusted chicken was moist and tasty.

 to be honest, the waitress was the worst part of it. She didn't know the menu and she overcharged us so we had to get some refund for our wine. But also they were out of several items which is frustrating too. We were there to see the the musical wicked so they should've been on their best performances, cause they were getting a lot of business from the theater. Usually, we always go there before the musicals and we probably will continue but if things don't get better, we will stop be nice to mix up the menu a little more too. We're used to that at this point 

Excellent service, friendly staff and my food order was processed quickly. The meal, spicy cornbreaded chicken sandwich was delicious and hearty. Amazing fries!

We enjoyed a fried cauliflower appetizer and the gnocchi and corn linguini dinners. The cookie dough beignets were the highlight of the night!

Great service, tasty food and nice atmosphere. This was our first time dining here. We will be back.

Lou Vino completely went above and beyond our expectations for our son and daughter in law’s Rehearsal Dinner! From planning ahead with Marissa, to being allowed to set up early the day of, the entire staff's helpfulness, the waitresses that evening, the food (WOW!!!)...it was the PERFECT kickoff for their wedding weekend. There is not a single aspect of the entire process that could have gone better!

My food was a bust. But we had great service. Its a cute place to take photos. The waitress was amazing. We had a larger party and she didnt seem overwhelmed. They didnt really offer mocktails, but was able to throw me something together.
