Love Handle is restaurant for people who love the ambiance of artsy book nook with a little bit of a retro vibe to it. It is very expensive ($42 without tip for 2 meals of eggs and bacon with coffees) but the food is farm to table style. Our new weekend breakfast spot. My protein-loving husband can’t get enough. The meats are wonderful and well-cooked. The beef tongue is the best I’ve had. The portion sizes are very generous. When we think what other places offer for the same price, this place wins, hands down. Why pay $12 for a breakfast sandwich when you could get a loaded plate for the same price? I do wish the breakfast beverage selections were a little wider, but they’re not bad. It’s a cozy place...
I love this place! The food is always so good I never have any left on my plate! Hip chill vibe, old movies playing, cool retro decor. Come-as-you-are laid back atmosphere. My only complaint was the coffee bar, only because my coffee was lukewarm warm, but I did come at almost noon… so prob should’ve just asked for fresh coffee… I’m just shy. I recommend this place to everyone coming to Indy wanting a great breakfast or brunch!
