We called 1 day ahead to make sure they were gonna be properly staffed for a party of 20 people. They were not properly staffed and no other employees seemed to help the 2 that were waiting on tables. If anything they could have came to refill our drinks, even the water. We waited for 45 minutes on refills for our drinks.
Staffed was rude and not pleasant. It was as if we were a burden for him to have waited on our tables. Food was not very good either. Even though it was my first time others had been there before and said it was not good service or food either. Spent between $150 and $225 between all of us. Personally, I myself won't return there again. The manager sat at the bar and didn't do anything to help or even an apology. He just looked at us. This was last Sunday September 14th, 2025.

Had terrible service. Sat at the bar and Alex the bartender was very strange. Not sure he wasn’t on something. My friend asked if he could taste the Modela Ngro he just stared and never said yes or no, but never did let him taste. Then when we asked for a water, he served it a glass glass with no ice. Everyone else at the bar had water in plastic glasses with ice???? Then when we asked for our check we requested change for a $100 so we could split the bill. He left for about 10 minutes. When he returned he never said a word about whether we could get change. My friend went out to the concierge and they gave him change for the $100. I really used to like this place, but don’t think I will be back anytime soon.

Service was top tier, our waiter made sure we had everything we needed at all times. A bit dark in the restaurant but other than that the atmosphere was decent. Our food was good, we wished the portion size of the quesadilla was bigger for the price but this seems to be per restaurant for the tortilla size. Our fajitas came out hot and delicious and our al pastor tacos were just a bit on the drier side. 7/10 overall

We used one of their 2 party rooms for a 50th party. The mgr. Davi'd was very personable and made sure we had everything we needed in order to have a great evening.
There were 30 of us and our server Juan, took care of us with great patience and professionalism! I had shrimp Burritos with rice n beans. Delicious! Everyone raved on how good their food was.
This is a hidden gem right on west 86th at Traders point.

Ordered 3 steak tacos on corn tortillas. Received 2 steak tacos on flour. I called the manager and they made it seem like it was my fault even though the waiter repeated my order back to me verbatim. Manager said they would fix my order the next day, but when I called 3x they never answered…

Great Mexican food! Free chips + salsa that has a great blend of sour, sweet, and cilantro. I’m a huge fan of the golden enchiladas- they’re deep fried enchiladas what more do you want. Food is solid standard Mexican fair, nothing too adventurous but tasty. Went around 1pm and the place wasn’t busy but service was extremely slow.

Terrible server. Aweful food. I had to ask other servers for what I needed. I left my server a nice big shiny penny for his tip 😉. It was my first and last time visiting. If his behavior is indicative of the service for this restaurant they will probably stop making money soon. I have since asked others if they've been to this restaurant and they have said that they like it but had not been to this location that I visited on West 86th Street. I'm not sure whether I'll go to one of the other locations to try or not.

FLIES KNATS FLIES And FLIPPIN Ffffflknats yes. Just flying around our food to the point we HAD to cover our food with napkins. I couldn't eat any more.
I talked to the manager, David…says we are taking it up with exterminators. Basically he was saying deal with it and didn't offer a discount. He said, you should have said something when you first got in.
Here it is they started swarming when the food came out! I ask him how about
Me and them flies took my mind to the kitchen yuck! He offered 10-15% off me how about I give you $3. Sir, how about 30-40% or you can take the food back.
Upon our departure we asked for 2 bags waiter pointed to the bags in front and told us that we could get a bag when we leave. Let me give you a tip. I’m not leaving.one. bye.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We've been there several times and it's always a good experience. The service is awesome. The food is top notch. I've never had food from here that was bad. Chicken is juicy, pork is juicy, beef is juicy and the seafood is cooked perfectly. My favorite is the big pork burro. Absolutely delicious. The churi queso you can't beat. The cheese is really creamy and the chorizo is not to oily. Great combo. The salsa is amazing. Not to salty, just the right amount of veggies to juice ratio. The fresh made chips are good, however they could use a bit of salt but other than that still good chips. They are not real oily like some other places. Overall Luciana's is a great restaurant and well worth a try if you're in the area.

Burrito was dry and not real warm, so I asked for a little cheese to put on it. They brought just a small amount and then added 2.00 to the bill. Two dollars is nothing, but I didn't want to have them remake me a burrito. Won't be that way next time! Other food was good! Cocktail Shrimp was VERY good! Service was good and friendly!friendly
