Benyue was an amazing experience. The staff were sweet, and above and beyond. If you're looking for something with a huge variety of selection... this is the place! So many things I would love to try next that I've never experienced before. My mind was blown away by how perfectly all the flavors tied together to make the perfect dish. My fiancé, and I will definitely be going back.
Ordered online at around 6pm. My order showed that the food was gonna be ready by 6:45. I waited before driving to the restaurant. Came in exactly 6:45 and was told that the food was gonna take longer. Waiter said it was gonna be 15-20 mins wait. Left and waited in my car. Came back and went home. Come to find out that they didn't provide any sauces and even napkins and chopsticks despite specifiying it on the order. Called the restaurant and was just told that I should've asked for it. No apologies or any attempt to help. Ended that BS horrible customer service call and ate my food. It was meh and cold. Will not be coming back. This place is expensive for no reason. Horrible food and horrible customer service.

I love it here! This is so much better than when it was Lucky Lou. People who say it was better before do not know fresh authentic dim sum from HK. It's almost always made to order. Exceptions being when there's big parties of 20+ and you're just a small party of 3, not everything will be fresh because they made it ahead so things can go out faster. That literally happened only once. I also gave 4 stars for food because dishes are not always consistent, but it is majority of the time and even when it's not, it's still good just not "perfect".
Side note: the chow fun is ? the noodle texture is perfection but is not for everyone. It's a fun chewy elastic texture because the noodles are made fresh with rice flour. It's not boiled dried noodles.
I forgot to take a picture of the food before eating. This is 3/4 of the way through.
Servers are great.

Unfortunately, this was not my type of meal. The ambiance and the decor were on point. I ordered sesame chicken, and it left me with a peculiar after taste, I'm not saying don't check this place out. It wasn't my cup of tea. I'm going to be honest. The best thing they served me was the white rice and the glass of water my wife ordered.

Food is good and the most authentic tasting but found a bug in my congee.
Great Chinese food and really the only authentic Chinese in Indianapolis. From Hong Kong so pretty surprised by the great, authentic Cantonese foods and BBQ is made in house. Great for people looking for authentic dim sum or Szechuan/Cantonese cuisine! Great canton owners!

We went to this place because an out of town guest wanted dim sum. I'm so glad we went. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant. We will definitely go back.
Vegetarian options: I would think vegetarians could find several items on the menu.

We went for Sunday brunch to try the peking duck. I was a little nervous bc of bad reviews but service was great. We got the pork sui mai and it was delicious. The peking duck was cooked perfectly and the skin was crispy but the meat wasn’t overcooked. It was awesome. They also bring out the rest of the duck in another dish and we got to take that home. Great experience!

Amazed, so authentic, a true gem, I wish I live around here. The food just wow
Made the mistake of stopping in without much time... we got dumplings, hot and sour soup, and general tso chicken...
It was all very delicious, but the servings were good enough size we couldn't stay to finish in time before our movie... purely first world problem, but wanted to emphasize how good the food was!
Next time I'm ordering different so I can try more things, because I want to try everything!

The food was mediocre at best. The dumplings were all very average. The steamed BBQ buns tasted like by product BBQ very low quality chunks and not pulled pork. The chicken feet were disgusting, and the scallops tasted extremely fishy. If you love dim sum then this place will be a huge disappointment. The restaurant was nice atmosphere. Waiter was nice.
