I enjoy the macrons here. They are pretty good. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and patient. The store itself is very clean and modern. The displays and splashes of color really give it a sweet touch.

Sadly, the texture of the macarons we got were all a bit off - either too crunchy or dense. The flavors were good, but really it’s all about the texture when it comes to finding a good macaron.

My husband and I took the intro to Macaron class with Jen today. It was really fun and Jen was not only a great teacher, but super nice and personable. Not only did we make 4 dozen of our macarons but we also got to try theirs and they were delicious.

The quality has really declined. The last three times my macaroons are hard crushy and old.I just picked up a half of dozen that are super old.Tashing and I will now try a new macaroon place.

Took my daughter to a kids class here and had a great time. The instructor was great, very informative and upbeat. We got to sample their flavors, make some of our own to take home, and learn all the necessary skills to make and create at home. The inside is beautiful and the staff is super helpful and kind. This was my daughters Christmas gift experience and we had a fantastic time!

Scheduled a “Beginner” class on Saturday 12/16 to celebrate my Husbands birthday. He is a baker at heart but had always been weary of trying Macarons at home. We had an ABSOLUTE blast. Our chef (forgive me I forget her name) was so incredibly fun, knowledgeable, down to earth, and made this experience SO SO much better. The 3 hour class flew by and we made DELICIOUS macarons! We took home about 2 dozen of our own cooked Macarons and would highly recommend taking this class. It was a wonderful experience and my husband said it was the best birthday present ever. 5/5 across the board!! Thank you so much for making his dreams come true.

I was a little disappointed picking my order up. I ordered online the night before a 6 piece. When I arrived he had to make the order and the peppermint only had 1 left as I had ordered 2. I was offered another seasonal flavor, however, I would have thought a small order would have been put together earlier in the day when the flavors were plentiful.
The macaron flavors are very limited. A little pricier than other places and not quite as fresh.

I have no one else to blame but myself.. macarons from a real macaron place are so so so SO much better than anything you can find at a store. For years I never understood the hype.. short-of-stale cookies with an unidentifiable creme in the center was never comparable to what I heard people say about macarons. But after visiting Macaron Bar, I understand. Macarons are supposed to be flufy and soft, almost like melting in your mouth upon the first bite. The flavors should be distinct. The colors should be .. well, I guess that's subjective but you get the point. If you want to treat yourself to something new and are willing to give macarons one more shot, I'd highlighy recommend Macaron Bar. By far the best macarons in Indy! We order from here more than we should, but they are so yummy! Some of our favorite flavors are cookies and cream, pistachio, and the seasonal. We highly recommend,

I have regularly visited Macaron Bar for the past two years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences there until recently. A year ago, the macaroons were exceptional; each bite explored unique flavors and refined textures. However, during my latest visit, I couldn't help but notice a dip in quality. The once multidimensional taste profiles have become disappointingly monolithic, almost as if sugar has now overshadowed the individual flavors.Don't get me wrong, the macarons are still decent, but they no longer warrant the somewhat premium price point. Where each macaroon used to offer a distinct tasting experience, it now feels like I'm simply biting into a lump of sugar dough. That said, the staff at Macaron Bar remains as friendly and welcoming as ever, adding a level of service that is genuinely appreciated. And despite the recent shortcomings in the macaron department, I have favorites that hold a special place in my heart. These include Vanilla, Toasted Coconut, Dark Chocolate, Espresso Cardamom, and Earl Grey Tea.
