Maialina Italian Kitchen + Bar

Delicious pasta and amazing garlic bread! Service was great. We plan to return with friends!

First things first- I’ve been to Italy and had “real” pasta AND pasta is not usually my first choice. In fact I probably have it twice a year. BUT THIS… Was. So. Good. Highly recommend the pesto ravioli, sausage pasta, Parmesan garlic toast, and shrimp fondue. Service was great and restaurant was a cute vibe, which feels as important as the food itself.

We had such a great time and a fabulous dinner at Maialina last night! Drinks and food are top notch! Our waitress, Alexis was perfect in her attentiveness to us. We can't wait to come Back!

Great spot! My girl and I split a flat bread and lasagna. It was plenty enough food for the both of us and it was delicious. We will be back for sure!

We made a reservation in advance and arrived on time and just as the restaurant opened for business. We got sat right away, but was seated in a table by the counter where staff hung out on their cell phones, chatting about their personal business. It was uncomfortable and we sat waiting for our server to come to our table. There was only one other table besides us, they were greeted and drinks delivered right way, the male server was very professional and on top of his job. Unfortunately he was not our server. We got up to go find where ours was and he had to tell them to come to our table. Food was awful, service just as bad. Our joyful evening ruined by staff on phones and hanging out in groups and very unattractive to patrons. Will not go back nor recommend it

Had a great meal with friends. We were fortunate to sit at a table overlooking the fountain just outside. A wonderful place in the heart of Fountain Square.

the food is always good. This time I tried the spaghetti and meatballs. Normally, in an Italian restaurant, it's ok....mine is better! But this time, wow....very nice. Meatballs were a little cold, but overall the sauce was great! Get the parmesan bread with marinara dipping sauce....

Visited during Summer Devour Indy 2025. Items chosen from the Devour menu were plentiful and delicious. Great service by our waiter.

DEVOUR INDY 2025 First time at Maialina and it will become a staple from now on. I can't wait to come back for a celebration, or to bring family and friends when we want to show them a great time with great food. We tried a bit of everything with the Devour menu, but I'm still thinking about that bruschetta, vodka pasta, and the cannoli cake 🤤

We went for Devour and really enjoyed Maialina. Everything we had was outstanding - if anything, we had too much food! The servers were friendly and brought everything to the table in a timely manner. The noise level was a little more than we would like, but we could still carry on a conversation without shouting at each other. Parking was the only other issue, but that is true of just about every place in Fountain Square.

Amazing service, food and atmosphere. We will def be back, also Alexis was amazing.

Visiting from out of state and picked this place at random based on Italian food and the neighborhood. Great place in a really cool, up and coming Beatnik neighborhood. We got there during the after work crowd time and took a table in the bar area. You could tell it was a favorite local place with a lot of returning customers. Wait staff was very casual; friendly, tattooed and dressed very casually but EXTREMELY attentive and helpful. Our waitress, Jennifer was awesome! Just the right amount of “chit chat” and service without being intrusive.

Pictures is shrimp fondue and my favorite the meatballs appetizer. 1/2 price bottles of wine! Must try if every in fountain square and they have space for private events.
