First time we went to the restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Our food came out promptly, was hot and well-prepared. Everything was tasty! The reviews on the restaurant were spot on and I will pay it forward to and recommend to others.

Food was okay, got the meatballs and they were definitely frozen but good still, drink was AMAZING! We sat for almost 10 minutes waiting for our bill while our waiter sat at the bar and had an AirPod in looking through her phone. I’m never one to post bad reviews and this isn’t a bad review, but they should go to the back and be on their phones, I don’t mind phones but damn. I would come again but hopefully they go to the back with their phones :)

Went there for a date night. Max was our waiter and he was AMAZING. Garlic bread app was to die for. I had the Margarita, flatbread as my main and my date had the shrimp Primavera - both were so delicious. The shrimp in my partner’s dish were HUGE yet still juicy. Would recommend overall. We will be going back!Only thing about the atmosphere is that it can be on the casual side from your neighbors sitting next to you to the hostess in the sports bra and flannel. Not a bad thing - just saying not a super dressy vibe either if that’s what you’re looking for.

The atmosphere in this place is definitely a VIBE. The food is magically delicious, I love me a great pasta place I’ll definitely be back. The services from the host, to the waiter went above and beyond and definitely met me & my wife expectations. 5/5 I’ll recommend if anyone looking for a good Italian place I’ll be back‼️
My GF and I went this past week for our valentines dinner and it was the BEST Italian food I have ever had in INDIANAPOLIS. She got the bolognese and I got the vodka pasta. Portions were super filling and that’s coming from a guy that eats ALOT. Prices were super fair. Service was top notch ! I believe MAX was our server and he did not disappoint, even went as far as to gift us a free dessert as it was our first time trying Maialina. Maialina set the bar very high. If you love food , especially ITALIAN food pls do me a favor and come to Maialina you will not be disappointed whatsoever !!!!!!

Food was exceptional and service was just as excellent! Max was our server and even gave us a free dessert for it being our first time there! Max made our experience even better he was so nice, patient and helpful. He answered every question, refilled every empty drink and made sure our night was just as pleasant as the food. I got the the gnocchi bolognese it's so full of flavor it's amazing! My boyfriend got the spicy vodka pasta with chicken and he loved it! The tiramisu was outstanding as well. This has now become our new favorite Italian place. 10/10!

Our little family went to celebrate my birthday/early Valentine's Day and it was wonderful! I have a 4 year old and in lieu of a kids menu they offer smaller portions of main items. The spaghetti and meatballs are kid approved! The rest of the menu is wonderful and this is a great cozy restaurant for a date night!
We went for Devour and everyone was very pleased with their meals! I enjoyed the gnocchi bolognese that was very flavorful and all of the desserts were yummy! I definitely plan to return again!
At the outset, let me say that I prefer the place where you can have a quiet conversation with your friends. Maialina was loud when we were there. Hard to chat. Also, I had a menu item I really didn't like. That said, the service was great throughout our time there, and I was comped for the menu item I didn't like. Bread was great, drinks were good.

Maialina is my Italian fix when in Indianapolis visiting my son. The service is fantastic, food delicious (I love the Shrimp Primavera), and atmosphere anywhere from laid back to energetic depending upon the time of evening. We like to go early if it's a weekend so the noise level is down to enjoy a quiet conversation. Upon recommendation we tried the lasagne this trip and it was perfect. Our waiter, Jaeden, was fabulous

Such a nice little neighborhood gem! The ambiance was so cozy and friendly, the food and drinks were great - especially the whipped ricotta bruschetta! We will be coming back for sure!

Food and drinks were delicious! They did forget the dressing on our Caesar salads. We went during their devour menu. Because of devour going on, they were pretty busy so it took awhile for us to receive service. They also did not ask how we wanted our checks divided or if we were even ready for it yet, so they put it all on one. We just put both forms of payment down so we didn't have to wait for our server to return to the table again.
