The staff here is super nice, it feels good knowing my elderly parents are taken care of here. Food could use a little more taste and kinda pricey. But service is top notch

Tasty home style cooked meals at a reasonable price. Personnel there are happy to help and attentive. Had fried chicken, the Monday special, and it was moist and crispy. Would definitely go back again.

Bad service bad employees
They hire immature people that want to follow a pregnant woman who is working for door dash out to her car to fight her Kylie Caldwell and Marisa are very immature so when I called up there Marisa answered the phone and told me she was the manager which I knew she was lying because my other daughter was talking to the actual manager outside about what happened so I wouldn't support a business that hires people that like to fight pregnant women

The food was sooooo salty. Definitely cafeteria food. I havent been to an MCL in many years. So decided to go and it was a let down. The people were extremely friendly and kept the refills coming, it was just the food. I got a stuffed chicken breast. But, it wasnt stuffed đ€Ł it was sitting on top of stuffing which I do not care for. Mac and cheese was dry but the green beans were delicious. The peanut butter cheesecake was decent. And the deviled eggs were the fake kind.

I visited on a Thursday 8/7 and the food was excellent but there was a women and I assume the manager that abruptly came into the line as I was ordering and took the last of the liver that was in the pan(which I was planning to ask for extra pieces) but she took them all and continued to fix a large to-go container with piles high veggies and meats and put them under the counter near the check out section. I could only assume she was fixing her own plate or for someone particular. But me as a customer I was not able to get and PAY for what I wanted. And then this same women came to ask my mother who WAS ABLE to get her extra meat about if her meal was going to be a x3 meal. My mother told her H no I asked for extra meat and that is all I am paying for. Seams like she wants to over pay customers to cover her meals. So, because of this I will not be attending this business when she is working. But the food was excellent besides the harassment and disregard.
Mashed potatoes dry like glue strawberry shortcake sauce runny like they added water so I did not get it . Not worth the prices!

My husband and I visited MCL on 10th and Arlington today after church, excited to grab some of our favorite comfort food to go. We walked in smiling and in great spirits, ready for a good experienceâespecially because we genuinely love the chicken dinners here.
Unfortunately, our visit took a disappointing turn almost immediately. The young lady assisting us seemed visibly irritated the moment we stepped up to order. There was no greeting, no warmthâjust a dry, almost exasperated tone as she asked, âDo you want bread or something to drink?â We politely declined the bread and said yes to the drinks. When she handed us the tea, the lid wasnât secured, which caused some of it to spill. We didnât complainâwe simply placed it on the tray and kept moving forward, trying to stay positive.
When we asked about dessert, her energy shifted even further. She looked at us like weâd asked her to go bake it from scratch. The expression on her face, the slowness of her movement, and the total lack of care made us feel like we were a burden. At that point, I asked her directly if she was having a bad day, and her response was, âIâm just trying to do my job.â We had spent over $50 and left feeling not only disappointed but disrespected.
The only bright spot came when I spoke with the manager, Carmen, who was kind and apologetic. She offered a meal card as a gesture of goodwill, which I appreciated. But the truth is, by the time I got to the car and my husband said he no longer wanted the food, I was relievedâbecause I didnât either. He went back in, returned the food, and offered the card back. Carmen insisted we keep it, which was generous.
What hurt the most was hearing the original employee say, âI gave them everything they asked for.â My husband calmly responded, âIt was your service.â
And thatâs exactly itâsometimes itâs not about the food. Itâs about how youâre treated while receiving it. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad taste that no good chicken could fix. We wonât be returning.
