I still love this place after all these years! The service and the food were great. The atmosphere could use with a little updating but I guess that's just what makes it MCL

Always one of my favorite places to eat. Been going for 40+ years. One of the few cafeteria style places left. The best beef or turkey manhattan's around. Everything is good though. We call MCL, lovingly, the MediCare Lounge.

The food is always delicious. The ladies who wait on you out in the dining area are the BEST!

Best restaurant in indy good wholesome food none better

Three adults went for Father's Day. The food was good, but overpriced. It was $85 for the three of us and we didn't go overboard with food. Two of the adults even SPLIT an order of Beef Manhattan.
The best part was Gwen! She was so helpful and a complete joy.
Overall the experience was good but too expensive... it's not a steak house after all.

I took my mom for a reunion with her coworkers from 30 years ago. The food was good. The company was even better. It was dated but fine. Womans bathroom stalls one did not have a lock, which forced me to use the handicap one. Stuffed chicken good, mashed potatoes good. Mac n cheese was amazing. Cloe slaw blah, sugar cream pie slap me across the face and shake me till I come out of the diabetic coma! All the salads they offered had onions, and no option for making one. That was a disappointment bit wouldn't stop me from going back.

Very good service from the time I walked in the cafeteria. I chose roast beef with mashed potatoes and green beans. On a young lady's recommendation, I tried the peach cobbler cheesecake. I left MCL Cafeteria full and satisfied.

The food and service can't be beat! Holly is the best!!!

Ordered out for my grandparents. We were visiting for Thanksgiving/Christmas.
Ordered and about 30 mins later available for pickup. It was a large order. Feeding 4 people.
Everything was ready when we got there except we had to wait 5 minutes before someone was able to give us the food sitting 5 feet in front of us.
But a manager came to the rescue.

We went there to meet a couple of friends for lunch. The chicken and noodles were not good AT ALL. I couldn't even eat them. My husband got the shrimp and he said was very dry. Way overpriced for what you get! Used to love going here, but we won't be going back.
