A hidden gem in Claremont!! If you are craving authentic tacos and burritos that are fresh and full of flavor, look no further. I usually do not give a 5 star rating unless its deserved and Mega Tacos exceeded my expectations. I come from southern California, San Diego and, therefore, have a long history of eating authentic mexican or Spanish food and I can tell you Mega Tacos comes the closest to authentic that you can get. In addition to the excellent food, the atmosphere is quaint, clean, with outside heated seating and music. The inside has 5 or 6 tables that can accommodate 4 or 5 people each. The prices are reasonable and they offer a $2 taco Tuesday special. I highly recommend Mega Tacos to anyone looking for that authentic, fresh taste.

Do I recommend this business? Yes. Yes. And Yes again. It was amazing. My sister found this spot and said it had good reviews. She brought me back a veggie taco. Let me tell you, it was a 10/10 but I thought it was good because I was starving. My nephew that doesn't like tacos, smashed his and also said it was really good. I couldn't stop thinking about the taco so decided to grab me two before heading back to my side of town. It seemed a little sketchy. You have to park in the back. They also have a small grocery store in the back. I was greeted when I walked in. The menu online isnt the full menu. They had a vegetarian section on the menu which I loved. The food was made fresh as you order so it was a small wait there was plenty of seating. They have a stocked fridge with different drinks. I tried the pineapple Fanta. It took me about 45 minutes to get home and my food was still warm. I smashed one taco and didnt have room for the second one. It was very filling. I appreciate having a vegetarian options on the menu for people like me who don't eat meat. Make sure to check them out. They have different specials throughout the week.

As always Omega doesn't disappoint. The taco specials on Tuesday is one of the best values in town. The tamales are good but frequently sell out, so don't wait! The staff is always pleasant, tons of drinks and side/snacks available as well. The cantaloupe agua fresca is fantastic on a hot day. Grab it if you see it available.

First visit. Wonderful service. Tacos large with lots of veg. Will return. Not a bargain.
I don't write many reviews, but this place was great! Was at the nearby baseball facility and couldn't do another hot dog or pretzel. This place popped up and was less than a mile away so I figured I would give it a go. Got a burrito and it was delicious and huge. I could only eat half. I could tell the chips were made in house and were fresh, along with the queso. I will be back without question even without baseball.

Good food, but the girl who worked 6/3 around 4ish is snappy and semi rude! I heard her get snappy with another customer before getting snappy with me also. Please either she needs to learn costumer service really quick or go ahead and let her go cause she is going to become a problem. Also should be a sign that says order before sitting because we sat down and just waited and girl at register didn’t say anything like “ you need to order over here “ she just acted as if we weren’t sitting at the table waiting.

We've stopped in here numerous times and have always left satisfied and almost always with leftover food. The place is a small converted house so there's not a whole lot of seating. They do have some outside tables available though. You order at the counter and they will bring the food to you. This time we ordered elote (mexican corn on the cob), a steak tostado, a shrimp taco camarones (shrimp) empanizados. Everything was good and filling. The empanizados are basically fried shrimp and came with rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream on the side. We will be back for sure.

We love it here. Eat here once a week now. The Chips are freshly made and the salsa is so so good. The staff is super friendly and helpful for our first time in.
Chorizo Torta and Pastor Street tacos are my go to here. Burritos are big and the chicken soft tacos are a crow favorite for our little ones. They will customize everything. Sit outside and let your little play on the playset.
