I enjoyed myself at Mel's. It has a nice mellow vibe! Music was excellent and the ambiance is all that!

Their espresso martini is a must try! All of the staff was so helpful and friendly. Coming back asap!

Everything and everyone from start to finish ish were exceptional Our waitress Mckensy (Grace) was amazing. Tim who was at the front went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed and assured everything went well! I cannot say enough positive things about the food, people,service and ambience!

We had the best experience at Mel's for our Friendsgiving celebration! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and true speakeasy–style cool. Our host set the tone immediately, friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. She made sure our larger party had the perfect seating arrangement to enjoy the night comfortably. Our server, Mackenzie, was absolutely amazing. She was kind, patient, and on top of everything from start to finish. Her timing, recommendations, and energy made the whole evening feel effortless and fun. You can tell she really loves what she does, and it showed in the experience she gave us. The food? Delicious and soooo yummy. Not one complaint from anyone at the table, which says a lot for a big group! The drinks were cleverly named, super creative, and even tastier than they looked (and they looked good). Whoever is behind that menu deserves a shoutout. Prices were very fair for the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience. We're already talking about coming back and hoping we get Mackenzie and the same host again! They truly made it feel like an authentic speakeasy experience from beginning to end, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Highly recommend Mel's for groups, celebrations, or just a fun night out. We'll definitely be returning!

Ari was a fantastic representative of Mel's. She was warm, friendly, communicative, and helpful. Her service was top-tier. Our drinks were great, and the space is gorgeous. They even gave my husband a happy birthday card - an appreciated personal touch.

It took over an hour for our drinks to arrive (after ordering them twice) and to order our food. Then it took so long to get our check to close our tab. While the food is so good, this is not the first time my service experience has been so poor. My section of the restaurant wasn't full and there were a lot other tables empty in the restaurant.

I went to Mel's for the first time on my birthday and had a great time! The ambiance was lovely! I loved the low lights and they had good music playing. Also, the staff and the manager were very friendly people! Definitely will be going back.

We had an amazing time and the drinks were amazing. All of the bartenders were amazing but Shabaka really made the night for us!

Only could stay for one drink, the place had a weird dirty water or sewer smell to it. Made it very uninviting.

This was my first time eating at Mel's. The ambience and service were great but the food was disappointing at best. The fried chicken sandwich was not very flavorful and the fry on it tasted like the oil was old. Was disappointed with the quality of food that was put out.

Zach was amazing! From the second we sat down, he made us feel welcome and kept the vibe fun and relaxed. He recommended the coffee short rib and it was amazing, gave great drink recs, and honestly just made the whole experience so much better. Super friendly, attentive, and you can tell he cares about making sure everyone has a great time. If you go to Mel’s, hope you get Zach—he’s the best!

Great location downtown. The drinks and service were amazing. 5 stars! The menu is very limited. The ambiance and decor are great. definitely will come back!
