It was overall a great experience. The food was good. Service was a bit slow and the live music was so loud you couldn't hear the person sitting with you but it sounded nice. I love live music.
Laid back and chill vibe for after work drinks or a small plate. Lighting is rather dark which makes for a nice ambient mood for a date night. We were the only ones there at the time and were given exceptional service! Definitely now a favorite on my list and the bartender 5 stars ❤️
Mel's was a great experience. It's a little awkward walking in with no direction but once you know where to go it's all good. The bar is pretty dark, like a speakeasy should be, so the ambiance is great. We went on a slow night and it was just what we wanted. The bartender and waitress were amazing and checked in with us several times but not intrusively. The drinks were great & the food was pretty good.
