Mesh - Indianapolis

Very disappointed. Dined at this restaurant previously and food and service were both excellent. This time however was a different. Our waiter bordered on rude. I think he was probably having a bad day and should have stayed home! One of the entree salads was dumped on the floor (not his fault). However the dinner entree salad he brought to replace it was wrong. When a different salad was delivered (after the rest of us already had our food) it too was incorrect. No apologies were given and It wasn't comped from our bill. We were celebrating a birthday and I mentioned that when I made the reservation. Not one mention was made by our server of that occasion. Never ever will we return or recommend Mesh to anyone else. Won't name our server but he was blond and name started with a C. Very disappointed. Mesh you can do better!!

Food was good, not outstanding. Other Cunningham restaurants are definitely better, especially for the price. The service was slow (the restaurant was not busy at all) and one person's meal did not come out until everyone else was done eating. It then took a half hour to pay the bill. For a similar atmosphere and better food quality, I would pick Union 50 over Mesh.

The food was SOOOOO GOOD! The fried green tomatoes are a must. The calamari was delightful. My husband had the ribeye and I wish I would have ordered it because it was so flavorful and tender.

We reserved front row seats for the pride parade, with the cost benefiting the Damien Center. We have done this for several years, and every year, Mesh does it even better. We had canopies in case of rain (which was a drizzle) and there were even goodies on the table. The food and service were fantastic. We look forward to this event every year! See you next year!

Great Food, Slightly Rushed Service Experience My boyfriend and I came here for a Sunday date night around 7:45 PM, not realizing the restaurant closes at 9 PM (totally our oversight—I work in the service industry myself, so I understand how that can feel for the staff). That said, the service experience left us feeling a bit rushed. Our server, who was also the bartender, noticeably pulled out her phone to check the time right in front of us while we were deciding whether to wait on ordering dinner until after our appetizer. It felt a little passive-aggressive and gave the impression that we were being timed, even though it was only around 8 PM and we had more than enough time to enjoy a meal before closing. To add to that, she asked us which appetizer we wanted—even though we had already placed that order about 20 minutes earlier. I understand that mistakes happen, and while I didn't mind the mix-up too much, it did add time to our visit and contributed to a sense of disorganization. Overall, she wasn't rude, but the phone-checking and general vibe gave off a subtle feeling of being unwelcome as closing time approached. I just believe every guest should receive consistent service, regardless of how close it is to the end of the shift. Now onto the highlight: the food was phenomenal. We both ordered the 6oz filet mignon—mine with the Roasted Mushroom & Red Wine Demi, his with the Lobster & Sherry Cream. Both were absolutely delicious. I picked out a wine to pair with the meal myself, though I do wish the server had offered a recommendation or tried to upsell a pairing. That little touch of engagement would have made the experience feel more elevated. We also ordered the Charred Broccoli as a side, and the whipped cheddar fondue it came with was to die for. They did plate it a bit too generously on a small dish, so it was nearly spilling over, but the flavor more than made up for it. Mesh is a restaurant I'd recommend to anyone.. the food was excellent, very well displayed, fresh tasting, and filling. The prices were very reasonable and within budget.. the staff was friendly yet allowed for privacy and good conversation. The building is beyond amazing and the decor and ambience were perfect! Definitely a place that we will frequent .. thank you to the staff for an amazing experience for me and my family!

We enjoyed celebrating here. The food, drinks, and desert were were delicious. Our appetizer of fried green tomatoes was amazing, as well as the Amish chicken and the corvina. Followed it up with their delicious pear crème brûlée. Look forward to coming back soon!

Restaurant was empty, I was a single diner and they put me by the waitress station. Service was very slow and after finally getting check waitress was gone for 15 mins. before taking credit card.

Lovely restaurant, good service. Food was a bit salty, but also really flavorful. Husband accidentally left his credit card there and we had a couple of phone calls from the restaurant about it and they kept it safe until we picked it up.

Mesh is a must! I have eaten there a couple of times in the last month and both times the food, beverages, and service were outstanding! Cam, the bartender is FANTASTIC! So great at customer service. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend to others!! Sue S.
