Very cozy restaurant, not a cookie cutter. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful.

Food and service is just ok, adequate. Wait staff seemed a bit annoyed with our presence (was there with a group). Maybe short staffed? Did not have steak, though.

Obviously, a popular place with locals, who come to watch sports and drink beer. If you come for that, Murphy's is ok. Anything else (including steak), you may want to go somewhere else.

My wonderful sister in law lives in Indy, we live in Muncie. So we will meet up here to have dinner sometimes. Service is excellent, food is great. From the road it doesn’t look like much, but don’t be fooled by that. This place kicks ass. The server we had but time was a guy, don’t remember his name. Hands down the best waiter I think we have ever had. Thanks

Went on a Friday evening at 6pm. Parking lot was full of confusion. Apparently the staff allow patrons to literally park in the middle of the lot. Could not believe they way these people parked. It basically created a one way path, but throw in mayhem because people were parked in the unmarked travel area. I will never spend a single dime in this establishment. If they allow this kind of selfish, entitled type of behavior, I can't imagine what the vibe is inside. I wonder what the other two businesses think of this? Big No.

This place feels like it should smell like cigarettes and have a roulette table in the back. I love it.

It has an older client base (not a bad thing) and therefore tries to be multiple things at the same time. At a glance of the menu it looks very affordable, and especially with the steak and seafood selection. However, a lot of the meat cuts are not very appealing, and the seafood is often battered instead of grilled (you could probably ask for just grilled).

This place is essentially a sports bar with leather booths and steakhouse lighting. The apps and cheaper “staple foods” are good, but the steak is mediocre at best.

I did the surf and turf and the New York strip was 1/3 fat and various colors depending where I was cutting in the meat. The scallops were good, but battered. I would’ve asked for grilled had I known the default procedure was battering. Maybe I’m the odd one out.

For apps my partner and I got the fried mushrooms and shrimp cocktail. Like I said, the apps and cheaper foods are good. (Typical sports bar food). While your typical upscale foods like steak and seafood; quality wise, stay within the price range of those collecting Social Security.

Service was decent. Only down side is we never got our waters topped off. Food comes out quick too. No longer than a 15 minute wait.

No drinks, 2 apps, and 2 entrees (one entree was the $30 surf and turf). I’d say this place is relatively affordable. Our total price was $82 before tip. You could probably take a date here for around $65 before tip.

Overall, this seems like a place you get mozzarella sticks and few beers at and watch a football game rather than get a steak and impress your in-laws at.

Vegetarian options: Impossible meat available, and the fried mushrooms are vegetarian.

Parking: Average suburban strip mall parking lot. Could be hard to find parking if it’s busy.

Kid-friendliness: Saw two kids in there. It’s a pretty casual place. No fancy clothes or anything like that.

Popular neighborhood old school steak house with a Super Club vibe. The breaded mushroom medley appetizer was the star and consists of button mushrooms plus thick sliced portobellos with flawless perfectly seasoned breading. Their version has an edge on Sahm's which are now my second place. These may be hard for anyone to top because Sahm's was my #1 for at least a decade until tonight. The lamps on the tables give it a cozy nostalgic ambience. There was even a small band playing classic covers and fun Boomers on the dance floor. I liked it that the music didn't dominate the room. I remembered to take a picture of the mushrooms only after we nearly devoured the platter.

LOVE the Thursday jazz trio, especially the pianist & the singer, Anne. Kudos to wonderful staff member, Cindy! My 2 guests from Florida were impressed, too.

Thought this would be a quiet dinner place. We didn't realize live music would be playing while we were there. It was loud, but not intolerable, definitely wasn't a quiet dinner. The server was super nice. I had a mushroom medley (very good) and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Lettuce looked a little old and in general the salad seemed very wet, as if it had just been rinsed off and put on the plate. It wasn't the worst Caesar salad I've had, but definitely not the best. I really, it's a good vibe, friendly servers, and our food was decent.

Worst New York Strip steak I have ever eaten. Dry. Tough- like leather. A good strip steak is plump, juicy, tender. If it is cooked right, should almost melt in your mouth. This was flat, extremely thin, & extremely dry like a very over cooked cheap cut flank steak passed off as a NYS steak. Ordered med rare- got brown in the middle (well done). Loads of fat and gristle. Kinda hard to even cut the darn thing. Lady across the table from me complained to management w the exact same steak issues. Very unimpressed and underwhelming for a steak house steak. Salad was great and the French Onion soup was decent. Waitress was a little snippy and very slow to make her rounds. Never got a drink refill. We had to wait forever to even get our bill. WiFi for guests did not even work.
