Excellent food, nice chill atmosphere. Their sauces and condiments are house made, which are great (I specifically had the ranch and ketchup). I had the Baja which was perfectly charred and seasoned. They also have a plethora of drink options at their bar. It's a nice little spot to eat if you're looking for a fresh bite.

I found this place very hip and refreshing, the food was presented in a nice and appealing way that made justice to the flavors. The service was acommodating with the changes I asked for in my meal (: the veggie burger was really good!

This is a very neat looking place. However, the food is average and pretty pricey for what you get. Every time we've ordered our food to-go, there has been something missing. It's a great location for the neighborhood but it's definitely not a "go-to" spot.

Urban, modern and upbeat atmosphere. Excellent chef, Malik....made my family a superb Salmon Dish, seasoned, seared perfectly. BEAUTIFUL bar and patio experience.

I’m not sure how this restaurant’s management can justify the prices of the food on their menu.

My wife and I found ourselves here after church ended abruptly (for us at least) after we got into a spat over our taxes. We thought that this American Eatery might heal the hurt I caused for I was having some stomach issues, and needed to "spray in the worst way" as my ex used to say. My blockage issues led me to the green lime pork chili and a coffee (a sure-fire combination for some brown flame) My wife ordered the 50/50 burger and a Diet Coke. The DC came in a can...that's right a can (more on that later). The food came and while my wife said the burger was tasty, but the fries "lacked identity". I criticized her for this comment. I snuck a few when she went outside to call her bookie and I have to admit, they did lack identity. As a matter of fact, the whole place did. For example take the daily special (see picture). Impossible burger-cheddar, house pickles and thousand island....what is impossible about that? If you are going to call something impossible it should be too hot to eat, too big to eat or too nasty to handle. This seems to be a pretty regular burger combo. Whatever, I'm over it. The place is clean and the bathroom pristine. That's right, I finally had a BM! After I returned from blowing spackle I found the check to see that we were charged 3.00 for the canned Diet Coke! They must get their Diet Coke from the same place that Disney does! 3 stars I guess the identity is a clean place with slightly above average food that charges 3 dollars for cans of soda. I guess.

I had lunch, and the food is great, the service is great, and you cant beat the prices.

Positives: A small side lot is available for parking but also right off the redline, so super convenient. The front patio area looks great for summer evenings. Fantastic design and decor. The impossible burger was pretty yummy! Good amount of veggie options. Portions were filling. Neutrals: I tried the Pineapple Express burger and wasn't blown away. Service was fine. Overall, I wanted to love Next Door because it really is next door but left a little underwhelmed. Hoping to try again for another shot!

Fish and chips were excellent! No wait at dinner time. Friendly staff. Sampled the shrimp bowl and it was also very tasty.

Something new today for lunch. Hibiscus Tea with Buffalo Chicken bites, Mac N Cheese, hummus, and curry chicken salad sand. Also tried frys with curry sauce. And guacamole. Hibiscus Tea could have been stronger but I'm used to the Mexican version that is stronger and sweet. Buffalo Chicken Bites were very good. I really liked their blue cheese dressing. Mac N Cheese was yummy! Hummus was ok. Really could have used more garlic snd less maserated olives on top. Curry Chicken Salad was delish. Frys and curry sauce were great. Guacamole not a fan. In all very good meal. They do lack items my husband will eat so probably won't be back much. Staff all friendly and a wonderful use of an old building.

FABULOUS food! I love that there were so many GF options for my friend! I had the cheeseburger - AWESOME!!! I felt garlic smashers were a bit over cooked, but flavorful. And the Ginger Snap beverage... I'll be dreaming about it tonight.... Y U M M Y!!!

A large amount of care and attention goes into the food here. The chicken salad is the freshest-tasting I have ever had, with a very good flavor profile. They have the tiniest bit of balsamic glaze on the carmelized onions, without using it as an excuse to be lazy with the carmelizing. I am impressed with everything, not the least with the restraint that the chef shows with his hand. Some places would be far too heavy-handed with things like the dressing on the salad, but a light touch goes a very long way. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant but I was surprised that the quality of food was average and maybe a little below. I had the veggie bowl and the taste was interesting I typically like pretty much everything but it had a really strange bitter taste almost like it had too much teriyaki sauce (but the taste wasn't teriyaki) I'm not sure what the taste was. The portion was quite small for the price and minimal vegetables. I was still hungry when I left. My son had a hamburger. That was fine. A bit over cooked. He asked for medium and it was more well than medium. And no dressing sent on his side salad.

Yes and yes! I went here my wife and another couple, and it was extremely good. I'm not a huge "foodie" but I thought everybody's food was extremely well prepared. All plates were attractive and delicious. Highly recommend. I should add that I had the saracha shrimp. I don't know what they did but the texture was incredible. A nice, spicy crust on the perfect shrimp. Exceeded expectations!!!
