A throw back chili dog spot. A traditional style restaurant. Food was fantastic, staff is humorous. A variety of options from Hot Dog, Cheeseburger and more. A real bang for the Buck
I had lunch here after getting a recommendation from somewhere I can’t quite recall. I was a bit early for the lunch rush, but it was quite dead when I visited. The staff took my order and I got my meal relatively fast. Service was okay, and the place seemed decent. The five way chili was delicious, although the spaghetti was cooked far too long. The flavor was excellent however. As far as chili parlors go, this is probably as good as it gets in Indianapolis I think. ...
I’ve been coming here since high school when the service was as good as the food. Unfortunately, they’ve hired people with horrible customer service skills. I stood in line almost 7 minutes without anyone speaking. When they did they said another lady would assist me and she quickly walked to the back not to return. I walked out.
Food is great if you’re willing to compromise horrible service. I won’t come back until they clean shop with bad staff
