Now That's Bar-B-Que!

In my experience the meat is cooked more “competition” style than what you’d cook yourself. Sides are tasty but kind of watered down for local taste preferences. The medium sauce is also, reliably, discernibly hotter than the hot which is hilarious. Overall the best bbq I can drive to because I can’t drive to other bbq. Definitely worth it if you’re already wanting some ribs.

We drove 20 minutes to get here only to be greeted by a little sign that says we will return soon. Internet says open. People around it say it's been closed for awhile. Owners should at least have courtesy to fix it. Gives it a bad name.

Not sure if this place is still open. Had food here a couple times months ago, it's not bad. If you've never eaten anywhere off of 38th St, this is your chance for the experience.

The food here is really tasty! I paid $20 for one meal. I'd expect actual plates and silverware, not Styrofoam containers and plastic silverware for my dine-in experience. I've eaten at plenty of Mom & Pop places that use real plates and silverware, not disposable Styrofoam and plastic.

Ordered the large tip dinner, Mac and cheese and greens/ cabbage for the sides, tips was tender, Mac and cheese was delicious, but the greens and cabbage mix, the was delicious and to top it off got a slice of chess pie. The owner was very friendly and inviting and the place was nice and clean, I’ll definitely be returning, Good job see ya next time

If you live around South-east Indy then driving to Acton just off of I-74 for phenomenal barbecue is easy for you. If you have to drive a while to get to Acton it's definitely worth the drive. I promise, you've driven further for food that's not as good! The ribs were huge and really tasty. We recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some great food in a down-home country atmosphere.

The food was AMAZING. Their customer service was quite impressive. I absolutely loved the rib tip dinner & tasty sides. My fiancé said the Cornish hen & green beans were very tasty and seasoned to perfection. Service was quick , we did not have to wait long for meal. Kid friendly environment, we’ll definitely be going back. I highly recommend 10/10.

We forgot to thaw our planned dinner and boy am I glad we did. This place is great. We had the ribs, boneless tips and some wings with green beans mac n cheese. Really good! The ribs and tips had good flavor and also had that good backyard bbq smokey flavor. Holy smokes are the green beans good. I'd honestly go just for those. I could sit down with a whole bowl of em. Def worth the drive for anyone not local. Well be back for sure.

Stopped for BBQ and could only get three sides (I was on a company card and limited). Got the Beans, Mac and Cheese and slaw. So, good. If the ribs are good as the sides, I gotta go back and try them. Good stuff. Def worth getting off the I-State.

I was driving and decided I needed some food and felt like having bbq. Pulled over did a quick search and found this place.Well worth the detour off the main highway! Food was fantastic. I had the ribs and greens. I’ve never had greens that were this good and. Ribs would easily fit into one of top 5 that I’ve ever had.Tool top it off, the family that runs the place was super nice.Will definitely be coming back here next time I go to Indy.

Anyone who knows good barbecue will love this place! The ribs and wings are great and are covered in one of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted. The green beans have real chunks of ham in them and are cooked to perfection. I usually don’t care much for Mac and cheese, but theirs is very good. I highly recommend this place and would like to add: if you don’t understand what rib tips are you should order one of the other menu items.

I must say “ Now That’s Bar-B-Que” they have the best customer service, you will get a nice portion for your bucks, The tips, rib, polish sausage are nice and tender and the greens , all the sides are to die for . Every dish that I have order have nothing but TOP delicious, I have not been let down at all and pretty sure will never be let down. There food taste just like good o homemade dish fresh out the kitchen , “remember big mama Sunday dinner “. only thing this is bar- B-Que Sunday everyday dinner . If you have not check them out please do it’s worth the drive the time and overall you will enjoy seating in the restaurant laughing with owners they are wonderful and sweet. Nice seat up to watch t.v in the restaurant and overall you will leave out will a full tummy . Check them out .. thank me later..

This is the best barbecue! I mean it’s finger licking good. I drive 30 minutes just to come to this restaurant. It’s clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere is amazing. All employees and owners are so polite with smiles on there face. If your looking for some good barbecue I suggest this restaurant.

We ordered the 10 piece wings and Mac n cheese. The wings are cooked to perfection and the Mac n cheese is some of the best I have ever had. Really enjoy the restaurant and will be back. Staff is also very nice.

Have had the ribs dinner and almost all of the sides and all of it has been amazing. The mac and cheese is wonderful and the greens and cabbage is exactly what you want. Highly recommend overall!
