My boyfriend took me out for a date night to Ocean Prime in Indianapolis tonight, and it was a phenomenal experience! From the minute we walked in the door until we were leaving, the atmosphere and service was top notch. Our glasses were never even half empty of water before they were refilled, the calamari, salmon, scallops and risotto were exquisite, and the desserts were extremely delicious. And the pineapple picanto cocktail was the smoothest drink I think I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. Our server Luis made the experience that much better as well, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered any questions we had with ease! This man deserves a raise and we will always ask for him to be our server. We will be recommending Ocean Prime to all of our friends and family!

We recently visited Ocean Prime in Indianapolis to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant came highly recommended, so we called ahead, and they mentioned we didn’t need a reservation since we were nearby. Upon arrival, we were seated at a beautifully decorated table with rose petals and a candle, which set the perfect romantic mood. The ambiance was quiet and elegant, creating a lovely atmosphere for our celebration.
The food was absolutely amazing! My husband ordered the lobster with a baked potato, and I had the chicken, which was served with spinach and roasted tomatoes—both were delicious. We also shared the Chop Chop Salad, which the staff kindly split for us, and the mushroom ravioli stuffed with cheese was simply divine. To top it off, I had a non-alcoholic bubbly drink that not only tasted incredible but was also beautifully presented. We also appreciated the Fiji water after requesting no tap or filtered water.
To our surprise, our server returned and let us know that the restaurant was offering us a complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary. We were so touched by the gesture! We couldn’t decide on which dessert to get, and our server even mentioned that since my husband’s birthday was the next day, we could get another complimentary dessert. Though we didn’t take them up on the second offer, we were incredibly thankful for the thoughtful gesture. It made the evening even more special.
Our server Heather was excellent, providing attentive and thoughtful service throughout the evening. We were so impressed with the overall experience, and the last-minute recommendation we received while shopping at Castleton Square was spot on. We dressed up for the occasion, and it felt like the perfect place to celebrate.
We give Ocean Prime a 10 out of 10 and would gladly return. Highly recommended for a special night out!

We dined at Ocean Prime for my Dear Friend's birthday celebration and we had a fabulous time! Our waiter, Dupree was excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He made superb suggestions and also accommodated our dietary needs! The food was excellent and tastefully prepared and presented! Even one of the managers, Michael took the time to come over and share birthday greetings... nice touch!

The outdoor covered patio/bar at Ocean Prime has to be top three ambiance moments in Indianapolis for fine dining. Might just be the best. In all these years, I've NEVER opted to sit IN the restaurant. I have also perfected a custom order that should not be overlooked: I like to visit really nice restaurants and order the burger to see how noteworthy it is. I've customized a design for myself, and I'm open to letting OP name it after me: I ordered the Wagyu burger, medium, with a white cheddar, or whatever. BUT THEN, I get it Oscar-Style. THAT, my friends, is the gamechanger moment. OP knocks it out of the park for me on this order - every time. Also noteworthy: jalapeno au gratin + bacon creamed spinach. The final mic drop always goes to the warm butter cake + an espresso martini. Thank you OP.

Staff was incredible waited on his hand and foot. They checked to make sure we had all the our needs met and food was to satisfaction. We food sea food tower and entry and deserts were great. We're happily celebrating a anniversary and got a complementary dessert from it, which was great but not needed. We were so well taken care of it was just really a pleasure to be there and enjoyed our time.

OMG is all I can say! We were celebrating our 31st anniversary and it was amazing from the food, the service, the staff, the ambiance, everything! Love it that we were greeted at the door with “ happy anniversary” and the fact that the manager stopped by to see if everything was ok. They also put rose petals around the candle centerpiece which made it so romantic. We ordered a lil bit of everything like the shrimp & sauce appetizer, roasted chicken, lamb chops, corn, twice baked potatoes, asparagus, lobster Mac & cheese & carrot cake. EVERYTHING was so good and worth every penny! We’ll definitely be back because we don’t have this restaurant in Dayton OH.
Parking: Parking was not an option because our reservation was at 8 pm on a Wed.

Our server was very well versed in the menu and what they had to offer. He was attentive and timely. The food was delicious. Some of our favorite items were the calamari, lobster mac and cheese, steak, and the butter cake. We will definitely be returning to this place.

What an amazing night. Our server Eric was excellent. Since I had never been there before, he took me through the entire menu and gave great recommendations!!! We were celebrating my friends 89th birthday and loved that we didn't feel rushed! The food was amazing. I had the scallops. They were cooked to perfection. We will be back!
