Brisket nachos are WILD. Meat is amazing, great mix of flavors and seasoning. In town for PRI trade show and the combo of amazing beer at Metazoa brewing and then this food was exactly what I needed after 13 hours of flying from Bend, OR

Very disappointing. I visited last week and got the brisket, turkey, and a side of corn and a side of coleslaw.Brisket was more fat than meat, and I typically enjoy fatty beef. Turkey was dry and tough, and would have been nearly inedible without sauce.The corn was obviously reheated frozen corn, and was a terrible knock-off of esquites. The coleslaw was bland and tasted like cabbage mixed with plain mayo.The staff changed gloves between some tasks, but did not wash their hands before putting on new gloves. That is a blatant health code violation! I will not be back.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly.

I went to Metazoa for a beer and didn’t know they had a food truck there. It was supper tasty and just the right amount of spice. Clearly the owners are from the south bringing that good flavor up north. I’d post a photo but the food was soo good it didn’t last long. I got Mac and cheese, wonder wings, and nachos. ? recommend.

Had a great experience yesterday with Old Gold Barbecue! Had their "wonder wings" and mac & cheese if you haven't had them they're awesome ask for them next time your there! And then a little later I had the brisket and it was awesome too! And even more important than the food they were cool guys and had great customer service!

Wish I could leave a review of the BBQ. On Sept. 4, I visited the website and read that hours were 11 AM until sold out. Once I saw conflicting info from Google maps, I called, and answering machine message said 11AM until sold out. I drove half an hour to find a truck shuttered and not even remotely ready to open at 1 PM. Still hope to enjoy this some day, but I was disappointed today that the owners had misinformation on not one but two critical sources.

I went to the food truck after they had already closed for an hour. The man working it was happy to help me get fed even though he could've said it was closed, even engaged in a conversation. The food was perfect, pulled pork sandwich with extra spice as asked. Way more pork than the bun. They gave me a fork with the plate which was confusing at first but understood after the sandwich. $13 for the pulled pork sandwich no side but way more than you could've expected at any restaurant.

I am in Indianapolis a lot for work and I don't skip the BBQ here. Brisket for me always numero uno.. but they will run out .. don't shy away from the several other offerings.. I.e. Amish chicken and smoked turkey was perfect.

What goes better with beer than some bbq? This bbq food truck is a great pairing with Metazoa beer. I recently tried the frito snack wrap, and it was delicious with some Mac n' cheese. I got it taco style with the added pico, and it was a little spicy. The Mac n' cheese is the kind of rich and gooey mac that you look forward to at family gatherings and cookouts. However, after watching the people behind me order, I think I'll have to go for a slab of the ribs next time. If you're at metazoa, I highly recommend grabbing some bbq to go.

Best BBQ in Indy hands down! Especially if you know good BBQ and want more than overly sauced and sweet meat. Sides are just ok could use improvement. Had my order wrong once but not a huge deal. Customer service is good. But once again, best brisket and ribs in the city!!!!

We go to Metazoa a lot and when the OLD GOLD BBQ is open we buy some to eat and some to take home. The ribs are terrific, the brisket is amazing and the Turkey is better than any I've ever had at Thanksgiving. These folks do a GREAT JOB of working from a trailer!

This was my first time and the food was delicious! Everything was fully cooked ? Brisket was moist, tender and full of flavor! My favorite side was the corn. Definitely will be going back to this place in the near future!

Shockingly good Texas BBQ in Indianapolis! The sides were all delicious, we tried the Mac N' Cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, and beans. Brisket sandwich was served properly with the sauce on the side and perfect smoke levels
