My girlfriend and I were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and relatively attentive. Drinks were always topped up in a timely manner. The atmosphere was good, and for lunch, the restaurant was relatively quiet. The service was a mixed bag though. While our waitress was attentive with drinks, it took a lot longer to get an inquiry about refills on soup and salad. It's also worth noting that we ordered an appetizer and that was served with our main courses, completely swamping our table. There was a big bowl, an appetizer, a soup bowl, a basket of bread sticks, two serving plates, about 6 different glasses on the table, and it was extremely cluttered. If our appetizer had been served beforehand, and all the dishes were cleaned up in a timely manner, it would've felt a lot less crowded. The dessert we ordered was forgotten about for a while, but our waitress did remember without being prompted. She was bringing us to-go boxes by the time she remembered. I found it very kind and endearing that she saw that I hadn't put my salad in the box and she offered to do that for me. I would have appreciated if my waitress inquired about the kind of dressing I wanted on my salad or if I wanted it on the salad or on the side, but she did not and I didn't think about it in the moment. My girlfriend was also struggling to enjoy her drink because it was too strong, and I think the waitress could've helped contribute to the problem solving process by offering to water down her drink before bringing it to the table, or bringing us a pitcher to dump some of extra glasses of water and tea into. Another complication of this is that the waitress was bringing us glasses of water with ice and that was making this messier too. Granted, these aren't problems or solutions we thought of in the moment, but I hope this feedback will help contribute to raising awareness about these solutions. Especially after witnessing the mess we were making by decanting these beverages at the table in order to enjoy them. With that said, the food itself was a mixed bag too. Half of the bread sticks were overcooked and dry. I didn't even want more to take home. The salad was good, even with the default dressing option. The appetizer disappointed me greatly. Apparently they serve the spinach artichoke dip with pita chips now. That wasn't always the case. They used to be served with small quarter inch thick bread rounds that were crisp on the outside and soft in the center. The pita chips felt like they had a stale texture, and even my girlfriend complained that she has always had to eat the dip with bread sticks because she never liked the pita chips. This is worse knowing how bad the bread sticks were that day. I did not enjoy my shrimp scampi either, it was bland, a little watery feeling and I felt like the recipe would be better served with okra than asparagus with the mouth feel of everything. That may be a personal preference issue and not a reflection of the restaurant. The mango-strawberry tea had basically no strawberry taste, and was so overwhelmingly strong that to drink it we had to order several glasses of water. The dessert was great and my girlfriend enjoyed her chicken fettuccine Alfredo.

My 7 yr old child just wanted bread sticks and Mac and Cheese, my daughter was the first to order a group of Caucasian people came in order after her and seemed to be friends with the waitress, so they received their whole order first after my child and I sat there for 25 mins after placing our order with our drinks all at the same time. Then watch the hostess set another family of 4 right in front of us which they were Caucasian as well she took their drinks orders and brought them back still no Mac and cheese and bread sticks it's now 45 mins in to my wait she brings them bread sticks and part of their order. I ask for a manager and the question I'm asked is why do I need on my food will be out when it's done. Then they proceed with even further action by having the police officer watch me and my child. I caught on that because we were black or may have looked as if we couldn't tip well or afford being there due to the type of order we made we were ignored and mistreated. I will not be returning there and reporting this issue to the BBB and corporate. Discrimination is wrong no matter the what color you are!!!

Third time dining here, and it is below average for OG. The salad didn't have much dressing and the pasta was dry. The waitress did the typical slow grind with the cheese, acting as if it was a pain that I wanted cheese grated over my salad or pasta. She ignored me for most of the meal, never refilled my empty water glass or offered a salad top-up, and only stopped to ask how everything was the EXACT MOMENT that I put a bite of hot, dry pasta in my mouth. Yup, asked, but kept walking to make sure I wouldn't have the actual chance to bother asking her to do her job and, I dunno, give me a second glass of water?Whatevs. Not gonna return. Wouldn't recommend you doing so either. The place is ghetto.

Hunter was an amazing server and was on top of our orders and we never had to ask for more water. She displayed willingness to listen and was very detailed with her knowledge of the menu and speediness of our food.

Hostess was in conversation with another hostess when we arrived. Her back was facing us, so it is understandable that she didn't notice our presence. However, when her colleague brought us to her attention, she turned around, looked at us, and then turned back around to finish her conversation with her colleague PRIOR to greeting us. I am not certain if the conversation was work related or not. After greeting us, she and her colleague went back and forth about where to seat us in the empty restaurant. Our waiter was much better, very attentive and kind. She was the best part of the dinner. The food was just ok. The breadsticks were over salted, our salad fork/spoon combo thing was a spoon/spoon combo, so picking up the salad was a great challenge, and my ravoli tasted like Chef Boyardee. The atmosphere was nice as it seems OG has tried to step up their "romantic" atmosphere game. But half the bench seats near us were either broken or they have an odd way of cleaning their benches. Who knows? So all and all, a definite miss.I get it, it was late and an hour until close, but I even asked when arriving if they were still seating and serving tables. If you don't want to continue to provide at least good service until your current schedule closing time, close an hour earlier.
