Just Be Yourself
I love me some outback. Unfortunately, everytime I go to the one in Avon it’s always a problem! From the dining in to the take out/curbside. Why nobody ever in the curbside area. You have to always wait 5-8 minutes before someone even acknowledges you being there to take the order. Ughhh. Now the dine in experience was horrible. I order the 7 layer cake, their wings, and a fry. I asked for the cake to come out first, which came out last. I always order my desert first so that I can actually enjoy before being full and not wanting it. I didn’t receive it until she bought the bill out which defeated the purpose. And I’m not even going to talk about how the chocolate wasn’t adhered to the cake. I asked for ketchup multiple time for my fries, after watching my waiter take silverware to one table, taking steak sauce to another one, refilling water, and ketchup to another table i never received my ketchup. The wings continue to go up in price and shrink by size. I will not be back to that Outback!

xlnt service from Desiree'..! they hav staff/wait support and that helps expedite but wow delicious food served fassst.. blooming onion and alfredo and the steak (filet mignon) plus the drinks! were excellent as well.. the 'castaway' (drink) was very good and not too much of a 'sugar bomb'.. the thing is l asked Desiree' abt all of this and she led me to exactly what l wanted and not the most expensive thing.. lm not huge on blue cheese but the blue cheese dressing there was home made and incredibly yummy..! the food was hot (but don't get the seared tuna.. it wasn't so fresh..) sorry but thats why we gav 4 not 5 stars on food.. overall an xlnt fri night casual dinner.. l cant say enough abt desiree' the waitress.. she was busy busy busy non-stop yet still super great attentive and informative.. l do LOVE it when a person is competent and knows the product of their job, and she/desiree' surely did..! 5 stars for the waitress (Desiree) 4 stars for the food (xlnt dressings and sauces !) food arrived hot and good! the tuna = ugh sorry just say no to the tuna but then as my husband told me.. its a STEAKhouse! (duhhh) everything else was no problems.. access, menu, bathrooms, dinnerware, cleanliness, surroundings, parking, etc.. dont tell them but we are planning on coming back tomorrow night (with friends) instead of BJs.. (its that blooming onion..!!) hah. dont hesitate to go here.. this is a wonderful outback.. this review is jan/2O25 for the outback steakhouse restaurant on rt 36/rockville rd and raceway rd in Indianapolis, INDIANA. overall 4.2 stars easy..

Great servers, but way too salty, the ribeye was chewy and the chicken sandwich was dry and salty again. The only great side fish was the salad. The blooming onion you can only eat so much due to the fact it contains tons of deep fried fat.

I guess it’s my fault for door dashing here after not receiving our entire order before but my suggestion is not to place any to go or door dash order here. Coming out in the cold after paying and tipping the dasher for the convince of delivery, here I am having to drive up to outback to get the rest of my order. Not that outback cares but I’m done ordering from here.
The manager and waitress did an excellent job. I asked for my steak to be prepared with light spices. My steak was overly spiced as this is how Outback corporate dictates how their steaks are to be prepared. My wife tasted a bite of my steak and coughed because it was so overly spiced. The spices completely mask the flavor of the steak. Spices should compliment, not mask flavor. I spoke with the manager and they prepared a new steak with no seasoning. The flavor of the steak was unrecognizable. It had a feeezer burnt or spoiled flavor. My wife and I could not identify the off flavor. There was 100% something wrong with the steak. At some point it was handled/stored incorrect. My Mother-in-law did not like the flavor of her steak either. My wife's steak was edible, however, marginally acceptable. I ordered brussel sprouts for my vegetable. They had a nice char on them but were hard because they were severely undercooked. I don't see us returning. There is something definitely wrong with their steaks and they cover the flavor of the steak with spices.
