😌 home cooked food! And best deals in town!

Portions were smaller than expected, but the quality was excellent.

The brisket lacked any flavor. Was mostly fat. The collard greens and corn bread were passable. Mashed potatoes were decent.
Was in town for the hot rod power tour and needed a bite to eat. I should have gone to the other bbq place down the street.
Supposedly guy fieri recommended pa and ma’s.

Ms Monica and Kim and the rest of the team are great I love them and food

All around great experience. Food was delicious. The staff was friendly! I recommend !

I’ve never been here, but what I would like to say is give this place some grace. As I was scrolling through the reviews I noticed most of the ones before 8/9 months ago were great and the more recent ones were bad. They experienced a shooting where one of the owners dies and maybe it’s taking a toll.

I use to come here a few years ago food was amazing but I recently went back & had the meatloaf mashed potatoes & macaroni n cheese & let me just say NO TYPES OF FLAVAAAAAA!!! Like the only thing that had some type of flavor was the sauce from the meatloaf …. Other then that everything was pretty nasty idk what happened idk if it was the location change but yeah this ain’t it no more.. but ig $10 for a plate u get what u pay for these days 😂

Nothing about this place would make me want to come back. Bathroom didn’t work so I had to piss outside. Cold rib tips, runny Mac n cheese. We left All the food on the table.

First time trying it and won't be back ..Food was very bland tasting my daughter's chicken was very dry and unseasoned.. the BBQ sauce was thin like water over all unsatisfied... While eating with my child present employees walking thru lobby signing using profanity in front of my child.

The food is good I love going there but some of the staff needs to learn how not say everything where everyone can hear everything they are saying

Fried chicken was crispy hot and seasoned to perfection.
Yams weren't too sweet just right.
Cabbage was tender and peppery.
And the Mac n cheese was very creamy and cheesy.

And the strawberry cake was Amazing.
The experience was Worth every bit 20+ dollars.

Customer service was on point as well.

Loved it the bbq sauce wasn't great but the food was wonderful and reasonable priced.

Parking: I'm disabled so right in front of the doors where I was at.

The price of the food is what gets me every time. Nice portions for less than $15. Staff is friendly sometimes. The food is hit and miss when it comes to flavor.
