I loved the chilli sauce and cripsy fried anchovies that came with the pan mee. Taste was authentic.

Hubby found this place by chance today to my great delight. For a Malaysian who had lived here over half a decade, having found a restaurant that serves Malaysian cuisine is truly a dream come true! We ordered CKT, Nasi Goreng Special, Kachin Baked Fish plus a separate order of Wonton Mee and Wat Tan Hor to go. I would say the food is 95% close to authentic Malaysian taste which is very good for a Malaysian tastebud. We are definitely coming back again and again. I can't wait to check out the Pan Mee with sambal on our next trip!

Stopped by here looking for somhing a lil different....read the other yelpers and went for it....Tuesday lunch 1pm place was empty and very quiet, no music, no TV no nothing which was very very odd, especially when another gent strolled in....just me and him exchanging glances waiting on what? We didn't know...anticipation was high as i was starved... I went for the Pan-Mee(Hand made noodle) ground pork spicy.... and water(my goto, gave up soda years ago and tea)...something's gonna kill me but not that damn soda pop! The food came with dried anchovies on the side, some broth soup and side of their super hot sauce for me to add at my discretion. Food was flavorful, noodles firm yet yielding to the chopstick twist, mushrooms had a little chew to them and veg was good, and overall i enjoyed and will be back. Service was an easy five, it was me and another guy....lol Atmosphere 4 Food 5 Service 5 Live local, eat local, support local JC

Very good. Never had Malaysian so it was a nice surprise to see this restaurant pop up. I had noodles in broth with chicken. Flavorful, complex, fresh. I'll be back.

I'm glad we have a Malaysian focused place in Indy! Pan Mee provides a great eating experience. The menu isn't too complex, but there are options for meat, veg and pescetarians. I went for the Pan Mee dry noodle w/ chicken and a side of gai lan-- it was pretty good. There was a huge amount of mushrooms, gai lan was full of garlic goodness and the staff asked in advance if I preferred spicy or otherwise. The price point was good (under $15) and I'm looking forward to going back to try more of the dishes.

I was a fan of their's on the Southside and ha e willingly made the trek north. The Burmese items on this menu are readily available on the Southside of Indy (do yourself a favor and try out some of those restaurants too), but the lemongrass chicken and Burmese style soup are a go to here. The owners will meetbyiur needs if there are vegetarians or vegans in your group. Get in to try authentic and delicious Burmese food.

I found this restaurant by accident when I pulled in to turn around in the little strip mall parking lot and decided to get a quick carry out lunch. Being in somewhat of a hurry I just took a brief look at the menu and quickly ordered one of my favorites, basil fried rice with tofu. The employee was very pleasant, and in about ten minutes she brought my order to me. It was nicely packaged and definitely a large portion of basil fried rice. The vegetables were bright and crisp, cooked perfectly. Broccoli, sugar snap peas, bell peppers, onions and plenty of basil. Tofu was nicely done as well. I plan to stop back soon and try the pan mee noodles, which are hand made in-house.

This place offers Malaysian food, one of the few restaurants in Indy that offer this cuisine. Check it out

I had originally bookmarked this place a while back, and was surprised when it moved closer to me. This was my first introduction to Malaysian food, and loved the dish that I ordered. Had I had more time at work this week, I definitely would have run out and gone to this place again. The service was attentive, and the food came out fast. Don't overlook this place while you're over at the castleton mall. Instead of the food court come try out this place. The prices are similar and you will leave happy!

Very nice, quaint restaurant. Atmosphere was very nice and the service was great. I had the Pan Mee with chicken and it had the perfect amount of spice. Worth visiting!

Such a unique and different flavor! I have had a couple of the soup dishes and one of the dry noodle dishes so far and loved them all.

I was starving while roaming around Castleton and just happened to see the Pan Mee House locates in the strip mall across from the mall. It's been a couple of things before, but this may be a winner. Yummy. Apparently the owners are from the Southport area and closed their restaurant down there to open this one. Boy am I glad they did. It's not a if menu, just doing some noodle and stir fry dishes, Burmese/Malaysian style. You can have most dishes as a soup or "dry" soup. I chose dry to start. It comes with a side of soup which is like a tasty broth, some hot sauce and a little bowl of tiny, crunchy anchovies. I actually tried them, but do didn't like the texture. The noodles were very tasty. I can't wait to go back and try the soups. This will make up for my stress about Castleton traffic!! Go here now.
