Had a half order of biscuits and gravy and fried potatoes for breakfast. Nice size order and was very good. Potatoes were fried perfect. Very friendly staff.

I have been a regular customer for some time. The food and the service is pretty good. I don’t think I’ll be eating there in the evening anymore. The young man that is the cashier has an I don’t care about doing the cashier job, I have had problems with him before, but called in a take-out order. When I came to pick it up it wasn’t where they usually put the takeouts. I waited about 5 minutes, nothing. So I went to the look to see if he was busy. One of the waiters told me he was doing grubhub and apologized to me. Come to find out my takeout and another persons take out were where no one could see them. The waiter sets mine up where I could see it. I don’t know how long it had been siting there. Disgusted I picked it up and put the cash on the register and left, my order was cold and soggy. My complaint is this individual doesn’t seem to give any priority to the customers. The grubhub person was not even around.

I love this style of restaurant. It's a clean place, I love the nice staff, and they always greet you with a hello. On Sunday the wait staff seemed just a bit slow, but the restaurant was packed due to the great food and friendly atmosphere. I have no complaints and appreciate this neighborly restaurant and will continually make this a destination when meeting friends and family.

We have ordered from here several times. Had no problems with the food. But the employees that's another story. My daughter is looking for her first job and they advertise that they are looking for waitresses. I thought "family" owned would be a good start for her.....WRONG! She called up there and asked at what age did they hire, I'm guessing the first person couldn't hear her so she went and got someone else and when she asked the 2nd girl she was rudely told they weren't hiring! I could see the disappointment and a little look of hurt. I am the one that told her they were hiring, we live just right down the road. I hopped in the car and drove down there to make sure I didn't tell my daughter wrong. No I didn't both sides of their sign advertise hiring. So as I sat in the parking lot under their sign I called them and told them that if they are no longer hiring they need to take down the advertisement. As well if that would be yhe kind of people she would be around she doesn't need to seek employment there. And we won't support their business anymore. She's 15 about to be 16 and is just looking so hard for her first job. The way that was handled washed all over me. To the young lady that answered the phone and to the 2nd one that said you weren't hiring. She was on speaker phone I heard everything. You 2 need to look up was assuming something does! I will never have a good word to say about this business if ever asked!

My coworker and I ordered food from here yesterday and picked it up. The pasta was alright flavor wise but halfway through eating it I found a whole wasp in my food. Very disappointing, but I'm glad I didn't accidentally eat it.

I wanted to try a new restaurant, just to change up the pace. I found this one on line. We arrived at the restaurant to place a to go order. The server was excellent and gave me recommendations, since it was our first time there. We placed our order and started our wait. While waiting we purchased some dessert to top off this meal that we anticipated to be yummy for your tummy! We paid $68.05 for a pasta dinner, 2 soups, chicken salad, fruit/ salad plate, mushrooms, and a slice of cake. The server returns with our food and we tipped her $10. The $10 tip was for her kindness and effort she put towards helping us make our meal choices. We finally made it home and unloaded our bags, with excitement. Low and behold we are missing items! So I called the restaurant and explained we were missing our soups and the young man said hold on and let me get my manager. A lady answered the phone and said you are calling about the missing soups? I said yes when I ...she cut me off and said " You a liar and that I was trying to cheat her!" ? WTHeck is really going on! I said lady why would I call and lie about some $4.00 soups. That absolutely makes no sense. I was just ...then she hung up! I immediately hopped back in the car and went back to the restaurant and asked for the lady who hung up on me. A man said you can talk to me! Miss me with that, man! I want the lady that called me a liar and hung up on me. She was sitting right there the whole time, but quite now! I said well she was very disrespectful and hung up on me. I could understand if I was name calling or cussing her out. She didn't even let me finish my sentence. She called me a liar and said I was trying to cheat her for two $4.00 soups. The man said he will get the soups. The man headed towards the kitchen and started yelling at the sever saying it was her fault. I said she did her job, she was excellent, it was you two. The ignorant lady said get out of my store. She kept talking smack and saying derogatory comments. She blurted out next time you won't get no soup. Next time! Next time! Look here lady we will never be back, please believe. You know the crazy thing about all of this is, she is the owner! I was flabbergasted to hear them say that.There is a lot of choice words I could say about this woman but her actions were unwanted and uncalled for. Her judgement and attitude was egregious. She falls under being a horrible human being. What goes around comes around.

Horrible company/restaurant do not spend your money here lady at register gave us a extra hard time over some soup that they left out of our take out order said we lying and we trying get over on her and hung up the phone on us very evil lady and a gentleman was condoning her actions like it was the right thing to do horrible mgmt. Do not support this restaurant ever they might do something nasty to your food.....

It's just ok. Coffee not the greatest, tastes watered down, and limited selection of creamers and sweeteners. Food is basically comfort food, on the greasy and not so tasty side. Coleslaw was like a soggy cold white soup. It wasn't a tasty crisp colorful slaw, for sure. Lots of pepper made the food a little better. The waitress was attentive, friendly and efficient. The 3 things I really disliked were the tables decorated in ads (not attractive or appetizing), the fact that you get charged more if you pay with plastic and not cash, and the TV tuned to Fox News. I hate being exposed to any politics when I'm trying to eat. It's an appetite killer. So an overall so-so experience, with some annoyances. I have a limited budget for eating out, so will keep looking for places I enjoy more than this one.
