Love my hometowns zoo, and it is nothing short of a great place to spend a fun family day on! Please get hippos and gorillas though, on a side note (otherwise we have basically everything else). No one will need to go to Cincy or Louisville zoos after that!!!
I went today, I’m not from around here. I got the explorer pass and it was awesome. While the Zoo is smaller than Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, it was quite the experience. I got to feed a giraffe, a Flamingo and pet a kangaroo!!!!Well worth the trip. Buying the ticket online was a few bucks cheaper than at the door!
My kiddos love going to the zoo to see the animals
Animals are often not out or exhibits are closed. Normally Christmas at the zoo goes well but this year the Santa was unpleasant and glaring in the photos we waited over a half hour in line to get.
Captivity is not captivating.

The food taste fantastic. But the wait time was excessive. The place was packed and we barely found seats to stay away from the bees. Though if you can find seats then everything is pretty good.
We came tonight. $150 later, we are DISAPPOINTED. Looking at the weather ahead - beautiful, and trick or treating avail, but come to barely ANY ANIMALS OUT, barely ANY LIGHTS ON, and 5 trick or treat stations with 3 hours of daylight left. People were also closing all the stations 30 minutes early. You wanted us to buy a membership though? You did a great job convincing us to not come back. Most expensive trip to the zoo yet, and also the worst! Been several times to this zoo as it is in my hometown, but we will not be back!
Kind of hard to spend a day at the zoo with your kids when you can't even feed them lunch.
Wasn't even open
