I never really have a bad meal here. It depends on your taste the pizza is good and I just get off work or when I get my hair cut I'll go to pizza king right after. Even though I'm an adult I still like watching the train bring the drinks to our table. It would tear me apart if they closed its the only old school pizza place from my childhood left on the Southside.

10/10 quick service, kind staff, & my 2.5 year old was entertained the entire time by the trains! Walking in here feels like walking into the 90s and my millennial heart has never been so full at a pizza place. Food was great too! Highly recommend!

I’ve been a Pizza King patron at various stores for 20 years. i sometimes get carry out from this one- but it was the first time Id eaten at the restaurant in many years. It was such a disappointment :( It needs to be shut down for a week and cleaned. Carpet is old and smelly. Our booth seat smelled like urine to the point my husband had to change seats with me. Dust, dirt, crumbs all along the edges of the floor/ carpet. it was kind of sad and a real let down. My pizza only had toppings and cheese in the center 2/3 of the pizza, and the sausage tasted weird tonight. I left most of it on the table un-touched. It’s a bummer- they could definitely do better. We love the train that delivers the drinks and would like to see this place flourish.

The furnishings are a bit dated. Very 80s style and faded interior. The house salads were interesting. It was 100% slaw style iceberg lettuce. Pizza is ok! I don't know how they do it, but you can tell the majority of their ingredients are pre-made/canned. The service has always been prompt and with a smile! I cool little local shop...my grand daughters love the train that brings the beverages.
We stopped in after a long trip, wanting something different from the usual chains. The place seemed pretty empty, yet it took over 20 minutes just to get drinks — not sure how you forget what appears to be your only patrons.
Pizzas were decent (4/5), but breadsticks and chicken were disappointing (2/5). Greeter and server service both felt like a 2/5 experience.
We still tipped fairly for a $70+ bill with the service and quality provided of some of the items, but I’m honestly surprised this place has a 4.0 rating. First visit in 10+ years — not rushing back.

Met friends here for lunch. The kids really loved that the drinks were served by a train, and we loved that they still do this at this location. The pizza was delicious, and the service was prompt & friendly. Great restaurant!
